It's nice to play vs a great team with fans I respect unlike the seachickens. Here's some interesting facts: GB is 8-1 after the bye under coach MM but 1-10 vs teams over .500 on the road for the last 4 years. I believe that if Manning doesn't cost Den with any TO's that Denver should win by at least a TD. Rodgers struggles vs good D's and has just had his worst three game stretch that I can remember. Getting back Adams, Montgomery and Lacey becoming healthy should help but I am skeptical.

I appreciate you not just coming here and trolling. I honestly haven't felt this unsure of a game's outcome in a long time. Us being at home gives me some hope we can win but like you said Manning cannot turn the ball over like he has and the Broncos expect to win. While the defense could bail out the offense against the mediocre teams we have played so far Rodgers is one that can destroy a defense after the offense gives him great field position. Manning and the offense have to step up in this one against a very good defense.

Some other interesting stats--Aaron Rodgers has gone against a Wade Phillips coached defense 5 times in his career. Right now he has 11 touchdowns to 0 interceptions in those games.

On the other side of that Peyton Manning has gone against DC Dom Capers 10 times and is 9-1 in those games throwing 24 Touchdowns to only 6 Interceptions.

Plus if the game was in Green Bay I'd be there since I'm 25 miles away for Green Bay just like last time when Kyle Orton played like Kyle Orton does.

I remember that game. Orton threw something like 3 interceptions and we got down by a few touchdowns early. Rodgers picked our defense apart. I'm hoping our new and improved unit doesn't quite have as bad of a day and maybe Manning can have 1 game without an interception thrown.

Some of the biggest wins in Bronco history have come with the uniform combination of the Blue Jersey with White pants.

Most memorable of course was the Super Bowl against Green Bay.

Others though were the 2006 Divisional game win against the Patriots where Tom Brady up to that point had never lost in the playoffs.

It also was what was worn when we beat the Steelers in the Wild Card round with Tim Tebow at QB and the overtime play to DT.

Also of note is that since switching to the Orange jerseys as our primary home color the Broncos have worn the alternate blue jersey 3 times. They are 3-0 in those games. We will also be wearing our All Blue uniforms against the Raiders later in the year.

Crazy stat of the day...Since Pat Bowlen took over the Broncos we have had more Super Bowl appearances than losing seasons (1984-present). He also has the 3rd best winning percentage among all American Professional Sports teams during that tenure. Right now the Lakers and Spurs are the only two franchises ahead of the Broncos. That means in the NFL no team has won at a higher rate than the Broncos in the past 30 years.

Honestly this makes me more nervous for what happens to the Broncos than that of when Peyton retires. Will his children or whoever takes over the team have the same passion for building a Championship caliber team year in and year out as that of Mr. Bowlen? We have been truly blessed as fans to have an owner like him.

Yeah Cd and I was entertaining those thoughts when the news first broke out on how serious Bowlens health had deteriorated because rarely in my memory has a franchise with a storied highly successful owners siblings or successor faired very well after he's parted. Hopefully, when the time comes, Denver will weather the storm,if you will, and new ownership will be as devoted and as passionate as Mr. Bowlen.

If you're a fan of the Packers or Broncos, there is no way this game will disappoint in entertainment value. I don't care much about the national perspective. Go Bronocs!

The one play I do remember as well in the first quarter I believe Orton and Lloyd wide open deep and under threw him badly but Lloyd made the catch. Also a pick 6 to as well on a short pass to the sideline.

I honestly didn't think I would like such great defensive football until I actually watched it this year with the Broncos. I've actually enjoyed this much more than the historical offense we had in 2013.

Packers defense looks pretty tough, but their offense hasn't been as good as recent seasons. Rodgers is still Rodgers, but I think he really misses Jordy Nelson. Going to be tough, but it's definitely a winnable game, especially at home.
The loss of Jordy Nelson was a serious blow to the Packers offense.

I agree. I think some have underestimated just how valuable Jordy is to Rodgers. It has definitely showed so far. Lacy looking sluggish hasn't helped either. Still very dangerous team.

So one very interesting piece of information that came out today. No matter what happens with the Left Tackle spot of Sambrailo or Harris starting the coaches have decided that Schofield will start at Right Tackle for the upcoming game even if Sambrailo is the one manning the Left Tackle spot. I thought this is a great choice by the coaches as Schofield has actually done a decent job so far at the spot.

For those worried about the game maybe this will help ease your mind a bit. One of the great new betting statistics have the Broncos as the best and safest bet of the weekend saying that by their estimation we should actually win this game.

A very accurate metric is predicting the Denver Broncos beat the Green Bay Packers

I've been following this newer used statistic and it does seem to be a very highly accurate way to bet on games.

So with this week being the Ring of Fame for Bowlen a ton of the former Championship players have come back to Denver. I'm right now listening to a round table discussion between Rod Smith, Ed McCaffrey, and Jake Plummer on the Denver Post TV. I would highly recommend anybody to listen to it. I'll try to give the highlights when I get done listening to it.

Well ok. Then again those more concerned about building perceived entertainment value (people with short attention spans who are so enamored by passing offensesei) really cannot see how boring the game is becoming as a result of these rule changes that benefit QBs so much.

As a result we see this dink and dunk shit that we get from the Patriots. Granted, you have to give the, credit and Brady is certainly good. However, for me to watch them go up and down the field while his WRs cannot be touched. Now I know that is the case with every team so you have to give them credit.

It is rather boring to me. Dink....dunk. Dink..dunk.
Edelman open all over the place. 5 yards dump offs, turned into 15 yard gains. Honestly, the pats have really taken advantage of every disadvantage defenses have.

The game is and will continue to go away from what it was suppose to be. The concussion litigators, combined with these new rules that constantly inhibit defenses, the game for me is becoming more and more unwatchable.

Alright so a few highlights from the interview.

Rod Smith is not a big fan of how fans are treating this Broncos team and especially Manning. He doesn't have a problem with people being critical of some of the things going wrong but he I guess has had a lot of fans take things to the extreme especially towards Manning.

All 3 of them are just down right impressed with this team and even with the way they have been playing view them as a big time Super Bowl contender.

Probably half the interview was spent them talking about Pat Bowlen. Man some of the personal stories were down right impressive. They said that Bowlen had people hired that were responsible just for taking care of any needs off the field that the players had. Such as picking up family members, booking flights, whatever it may be so that the players didn't have the distractions off the field to worry about.

I knew this one but he would come work out especially with the players who were rehabbing. McCaffrey said that most days that he road on the bike Pat Bowlen would be on the one next to him talking about the team.

Jake Plummer's was pretty awesome. Jake was very close with Pat Tillman from his Arizona days and wanted to honor him in some way. The NFL had the one week where players wore the #40 on their jerseys and Plummer wanted to do it for the entire year. The NFL kept fining him for it. Mr. Bowlen realized how much this meant to Jake so he had the #40 put next to the Game Clock for all to see and especially for Plummer to see.

All 3 said that Bowlen was about as humble as they come. When he found out he was getting inducted into the Ring of fame he said "Why me?" It is why at the Super Bowl he did the "This ones for John" speech because he wanted it to be about the players and the fans instead of him.

The Denver Broncos this season are 2nd in the league in turnovers forced. On the opposite side the Packers have the 2nd fewest giveaways with only having 4 turnovers on the entire season. That could be an interesting battle.

I wouldn't say boring exactly but you make great points especially regarding " taking advantage " of the system and rules. Nobody does that better than Bill and his staff. Scary good.

Final injury report came out today for the Broncos/Packers game. Some very good news and some not so great news.

The bad news. As we most likely all knew anyway Shane Ray has been ruled out. The other bad news is it looks like Sambrailo is still not ready to go as he is listed as doubtful for this one. Finally a new name to the injury report is that of Norwood who must have been hurt in today's practice with a hamstring issue as he had been a full participant but now is listed as questionable for the game.

Every other player for the Broncos is listed as Probable

As for the Packers the players listed as questionable are...

Ty Montgomery, James Starks, Nick Perry, B.J. Raji, and Demarious Randall

Of those I highly doubt Montgomery plays in the game as he did not practice once. James Starks would be another that could be very limited as he barely practiced all week. Demarious Randall is one I am not sure the extent of his injury. It looks like he sustained the injury during practice this week on Wednesday as he barely practiced the rest of the week.

For the most part though both teams are about as healthy as they have been in weeks.
