Back to the early Sunday afternoon slate for this kick-off.
I think we match-up fairly well with Indy. Their D presents the least imposing matchup we've seen thus far and could provide us with an opportunity to get some sort of forward traction going. I anticipate a focus on us running the ball this week. It's been mentioned by the staff and players in press conferences. It's also the most logical way to take the pressure off of Caleb - both literally and figuratively.
Offensively, Indy can run, but outside of one drive where Tony Pollard had his way with a pair of nice runs. We've really not been able to be run upon. Their QB (Richardson) is pretty raw and mistake prone. I suspect our secondary should be able to force the issue and create some problems for him. Pick off, at least, one pass. Hopefully more.
I don't like going on the road to face an 0-2 team that is hungry for their first win. However, just on paper, I like us to bounce back and win here. This really is a chance for Caleb to get somewhat comfortable. Malik Willis was 12/15 with a 126 rating against the Colts and they ran the ball well on them.
It won't come easy, though. This offense isn't capable of putting anyone away in a game. At least, they damn well haven't shown it.
