I've been pretty happy with the defense in the first half. They've given up some yards, but they forced a couple of turnovers and haven't been given good field position. The special teams continue to be a disaster in the post-Taub era and the offense looks like a unit whose two stars are injured, but at least there are some positives. And as bad as it looked at times, we are one questionable replay booth decision away from a one score game.

If Alshon was full go... this would be a very close game. I'm actually encouraged. Only being down 10. going into half. the Defense has play surprisingly well. A blocked punt is really the only thing we have seen that's really bad.
Offense has been playing careful- can't run the ball, but aside from the bad snap- no major mistakes.

It's funny. Yeah, it could be a lot worse.

But with the way the D is actually holding up, coupled with the play clock mishap. We could also be within one score.

It was honestly just a sloppy game, with way too many flags. It is what it is… 17-7.

Beautiful catches by Conte and Marshall. I agree with the guy who said that Marshall and Jeffery are holding the offense back. Not that the backups wouldn't be doing the same thing.

The D isn't horrible. But they're not good, either. The 49ers D knows we're hurt and is clamping down on the guys who aren't. Predictable result.

The D looked pretty solid at times man. I mean, when you're on a short field after your offense consistently goes three and out. It's tough.

As far as Marshall and Jeffery holding them back. Perhaps before they were. But uh… I wouldn't say that TD catch by Brandon held us back. lol
