Doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Denver is a bad 4-12 team and the Chiefs needed a bailout to stay in the game, both statements can be true. Maybe ask yourself why the so called best team in the AFC needed the refs to save them in the first place.
But that statement isnt true. When was KC not 'staying in the game'? For all we know Wilson would've gotten strip sacked the next play.

Broncos scored a touchdown on a drive when Sutton knocked out one of our starting CB for a drive. Chiefs missed 4 points in the kicking game and spotted you 7 on a punt return fumble near the goal line. The Chiefs also had an INT in the endzone and the play before could have been PI. And you still lost. The other game KC had like this was the Colts game and the Colts won. The refs robbed KC that game imo and maybe bailed KC out in this one. Those were KCs two worst games of the season and still won one.

Im not too worried about KC at full strength. If one of their CBs goes down, someone else will win the AFC. If Chris Jones, Kelce, or Mahomes goes down someone else will win the AFC. Outside of that...its a young team that is getting better while still making bad mistakes. That said, Cinci and Buffalo seem to have more consistency but KC is trending the right direction.

And good teams can overcome a shift in momentum during a game and take it back. Yours didn't, because they suck.

Denver does indeed suck no one’s disputing that, it just says more about the Chiefs that they needed a bail out to get that momentum back which says more about them than it does Denver. They needed the refs to help them out because they were on their way to losing to a team with no real head coach before the refs stepped in.

Yep. To further drive the point home though:

YPP

KC: 6.4 (this would lead the league)

Den: 4.7 (this would be bottom 3-5)

It took a fumble inside the KC 20, on a punt, and an INT in the Denver end zone to make it close. Bonus points for a botched XP and a blocked FG. Denver was always living on borrowed time yesterday. They were fortunate to not get blown out. Denver sucked, like they usually do, and bumbled into a close game- and lost.

The end.

Once again, the refs didn't "step in". You are crying like a little bitch to the fact you lost a game. No game in the history of sports has been decided by the refs. It's a bitch excuse, for bitches to use as an excuse for their own teams shortcomings.

And it took a bogus PI call, a non-roughing the passer call on Chris Jones at the end of the game, and a non-call on a hit on a defenseless receiver against Hinton for Kansas City to stay in the game, Kansas City made mistakes themselves, and yet Denvers only mistakes besides the Wilson INT were the refs making bad or no calls.

It’s OK to say you guys stole a victory, it happens a lot, it’s just you seem to not want to admit that the refs bailed you out to beat a bad 4-12 team.

We'll talk when you come to the table on illegal contact, delay of game, and in the grasp.

Denver lost. If they played 10 times. KC probably wins 8 or 9 of them this year. They don't need the refs. Get over it.

You’re right KC probably wins 8/10, it’s just the fact that those other two times one of them you needed the refs to help you which says more about the Chiefs than it does the Broncos. We know we suck, we have since we won SB 50. No bronco fan will argue that with you, it’s just laughable to think that you guys didn’t need extra help to beat a bad 4-12 team yesterday.

Idk, we gave the Broncos plenty of help with the two turnovers given where they were on the field and how relatively unforced they were.

The Chiefs lead the league in net yards per play. Trying to do the bit where "the Chiefs played a bad team close, they must be overrated" doesn't really work. At worst you can say their mediocre defense couldn't hold Denver below their (already pitiful) averages, even with the understandably compromised position with the Toney fumble.

Well thats just a silly take. The game of football has certain plays that matter way, way more than other plays.

That's true, but if you lost because the ref makes one bad call then you didn't deserve to win that game anyway. If you played better it wouldn't of come down to one bad call. So again, no game in the history of sports has been decided by the refs.

Also just looked at the box score. KC got called for more penalties than the Broncos did, but those pesky refs just had to help the chiefs right. One could argue that Denver was so bad they still lost even with the refs help.

You say unforced and yet I don’t recall the ball magically falling out Toney’s hands out of nowhere, and this is the 2ND INT Mahomes has thrown to Simmons in the endzone this season meaning he is clearly disguising something Mahomes can’t pick up on, so it’s not really a case of the Chiefs accidentally gifting Denver 2 turnovers.

Man literally had the ball in his left hand running right. That's stuff they tell you not to do in pee-wee. That's as boneheaded a move a returner can make short of fielding a sun-ball and muffing it.

And there you go, you just looked at the box score and didn’t watch the game, you would know that KC had two more penalties and yet Denver averaged more yards per penalty meaning Kansas City got called for more small stuff which doesn’t really equate to what you’re talking about.

Like an illegal contact that negated a Wilson interception?

And if it would’ve been a touchdown, everyone would be praising him for such a bold throw that he routinely makes. Mahomes makes throws like that what four times a game at least?

Yes, you’ve mentioned that several times you’re clearly not happy with it, maybe show where you thought it shouldn’t have been called. But take a look at the PI on Sutton, even regular people who aren’t even Broncos fans are calling it out for being BS. When you’ve got people who have no stakes in the game pointing out what a bad call it was, that means it was a bad call.

I watched the game, I just assumed that the poor Broncos must of been picked on by the mean guys in the black and white shirts that the penalty disparity much of been huge. Imagine my surprise when I saw that you were full of shit. Both calls you are complaining about were the right calls.

It wasn't accurate (it should be borderline on the sideline if you even think of attempting that throw, it's a low % throw on 3rd down) first of all, and even if it was it probably wasn't going to be a catch. It's just not a great decision in general, imo.

Mahomes is as good as anyone with risk/calculus and being able to access them. That was simply not a good throw by any definition.
