Pretty sad defense of the title. Lots of injuries and shit but that ain't good. Having said that, I have this sinking feeling in my gut they come into Seattle next week and spoil the Seahawks chance at a +500 record and possible playoff berth. Hoping not but it would be a typical Rams/ Seahawks thing to do.

Very sad. Sure they had injuries, every team does. It's lack of depth that helped do them in. They were lucky hardly lost any players nor coaches during the offseason. Many SB teams get rap*& after a SB.

I think Seattle beats them next week.

If the Seahawks come out like they did this week, they should win but it may be a moot point as far as a playoff berth if the Packers handle Detroit early on so I can see maybe a little let down from a young team. Also don't know Brooks status yet. And also can see Bobby Wagner have another big game like the last time these teams met. Hope the 12s show Bobby a lot of love and appreciation before the game starts, too. I guess we will see. Gonna be interesting to see it all play out. #goLions

You mean a Defense that held the amazing high powered chiefs offense to 13 points before you had to get bailed out to stay in the game?
Blaming refs is such a bitch move.

Doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Denver is a bad 4-12 team and the Chiefs needed a bailout to stay in the game, both statements can be true. Maybe ask yourself why the so called best team in the AFC needed the refs to save them in the first place.

The Chiefs lead the league in net yards per play. Broncos needed a ton of highly specific things going their way to be in that position to begin with.

No one needed the refs. The refs in the history of the league does not decide a game. If a loss by your team comes down to one bad ref call to determine the game, you didn't play well enough to win for the other 59 minutes and 50 seconds of the game.

Methinks the 15 straight losses has some Broncos fans extra salty.
Not really. No one expected Denver to even be close in the game(including you, I seem to recall you saying it would be over by halftime). I just find it funny that the the incredible Chiefs offense struggled so mightily until the bogus PI call that changed the game. And now it’s hilarious to see Chiefs fans act like they won 50-0.

Apparently you’ve never heard of something called a momentum shift.

Indeed Denver beat the odds to lose close, instead of big. Have a cookie.
