It has always been an unwritten rule, no matter how much slow motion replay afterwards.

That’s not a “heave” into the end zone though. That’s 4th and goal. The illegal formation call is ok to impact the outcome but pass interference isn’t? Either theyre both an infraction or you just “let ‘em play”.

Nah. Refs just always make mistakes. Look how many times they got overruled throughout the game and on that final drive. It's just unlucky that one of the most impactful calls/non-calls is not reviewable anymore.

Yup, that's no heave. Not a long pass and the QB found a one on one matchup. It was like a 70% chance of a TD catch if the DB wasn't mugging the receiver.
