Good luck Bronco fans. Should be a fun game. No clue about either team this year but I hope that Seattle is getting back to defense first. Facing a rookie QB to start should help that.

I'm excited too. Tough first game with the Seahawks having 3 legit WR's on their roster all with different skill sets. Going to be interesting to see if the Broncos move Surtain around to follow Metcalf or if they trust Moss to go toe-to-toe some with him.

So random stats for the day. Sean Payton against rookie Head Coaches in the first 8 weeks of the season is 13-3. He is 31-12 against them if we take the entire season. Those teams averaged 28 points per game and +340 points when you just isolate those games.

I was wondering which combo would you rather have heading into this game...Veteran coach with rookie QB or rookie coach with veteran QB?

I love the promise of Bo Nix but I would choose a veteran QB and rookie coach over the other. At the end of the day, execution happens on the field more than the sideline. I do think Payton will have a great game plan to maximize on Bo Nix's strengths but the emphasis will be on running the ball. Seattle will know that and will attempt to make rookie Nix beat them. It's going to be exciting, for sure.

Well the last time we opened @ Seahawks we had the rookie HC and veteran QB combo. And that didn’t go so well. So I’m willing to see what this combo brings us.
