Fixed a small part. Put that part in yellow because that is what I think that was what your implying?????

Two points:

1) As a Canucks fan. I don't hope, I know when these rides end it takes time to build back. Only one was a clean transition

2) By the the trading of picks your losing chances to take guys that will help your future, when Ramsay, Donald, Kupp, Stafford etc... leave or retire

I don’t see any of those guys retiring in 5 years.

In 2022 We’ve got a 3rd round comp from Lions. 4th round comp. 5th rounder. 3-4 6th round comps. 2 7th rounders. So when you have top tier talent, you can take these later picks, put them in the pipeline to develop and then they have to step up. Rams have been doing great in these rounds. Not so great on early picks. We have a few holes, but not many and with a front 7 like that.. it’s going to hide some holes for sure.

The big thing about this is that you have to keep on winning and then the trades look great. Once you stop winning then you look like the Texans or Dolphins. McVay and Donald will likely never be in that spot as long as they're together, though, but its a hard strategy to duplicate.

To do what they are doing you have to have great players at key positions. And they have to stay healthy for sure

Miller will not be a Rams player for long.

This is simply a move by the Rams so Seattle will trade for Miller for 5 first round future picks and then proceed to drop Miller into coverage 24/7 while utilizing him as a pass blocking TE on occasion.

Big move for the Rams and worth it, imo. They were already looking good for the division even though the Cards beat them but this could get them the 1 seed. Von is a game changer and will get lots of opportunity with teams having to deal with 99.

That said, this whole 'Von Miller isnt quite who he used to be' stuff is a bit overblown imo. He is still a star and Im not sure how teams are going to pass on the Rams when they have 3 stars at important positions to shut down the pass.
Eh I don't know if I'd classify him as a star. He hasn't hit double digit sacks since 2018, and he's only recorded half a sack in his past 4 games combined.

That said, I do think this is the perfect situation for him in that he doesn't have to be the man in Los Angeles. I expect his numbers to spike now that Donald will be soaking up all those double teams and give Von more opportunities 1 on 1.

It works until it doesn't.

Building around Aaron Donald's career is smart, though.
100% and the switch can get flipped very quick

Solid trade for both teams. No more excuses for the Rams. This team is loaded on both sides and I would say the most complete team.

Not good for the rest of the NFL. Ill say this though, the Rams tried to buy a Lombardi a few years ago and it didn’t work out for them.

5-10 years.

True but then you hit and your good. You miss...............

but when these guys retire, then you be hurting with all of those missed picks.

Trust me, Look at the Seahawks now for proof

hard to say this is a bad trade for either team... both got what they needed... and mid season trades dont happen often, so it is safe to believe this is the MOST the broncos could have gotten...

but this really does make the rams even more scary... they already had One of the best defenses, getting another potential STUD, can just make them unstoppable...

this trade made them easy favourites to win the SB... but i would still bet the field...

It’s a 2nd and 3rd. Think we had 3 3rd rounders total with comps. I’m not sweating the picks.

Again
Its always a crapshoot. We drafted a 19 year old O-tackle early in the first who was supposed to be a phenom. He has been beaten like a rented mule so far. He might and probably will be very good in a couple years but sometimes draft picks can be flakey.
