Doug beat the Rams head to head (while losing his MVP QB in that game), had more and more significant injuries to deal with, was considered a worse coach almost universally, and has surpassed time and again expectations. O yeah, and has regularly taken apart defenses that were considered among the best of the NFL at the time.

The opposing argument would be that Sean McVay took over a 4-12 team and ended up going 11-5. You don't frequently see a head coach make that much of a change in his first year. Especially one so young.

Don't get me wrong, I think there is a compelling argument for both coaches. Both teams have a lot of great, young talent and should be forces for a while.
