Eagles RB Kenneth Gainwell (ribs) will not play in Week 2 against the Vikings.Does Swift become the workhorse in Gainwell's absence, or does an activated Penny or Boston Scott take that role?
That’s a pretty big line in the NFL between two teams that won double digit games last year.I'm a little surprised that the line on the game is only 7 points.

So if we take that into consideration instead of being 13-4 they’re what? 9-8? 10-7? 7 is a big line in the NFL.The double-digit wins for the Vikes last year was a statistical anomaly, given their negative point differential on the season.

I don’t disagree. I was responding to a poster who seemed like he was saying it should be larger. Maybe I misread it.Home field is worth 2-3 points alone and the Eagles are the defending conference champions. Doesn't seem out of line to me without notable injuries. The injuries make maybe a little strong? That could be a push from the Philly faithful to that number though...

I’m playing Vikings +6.5 and over 49 points. I think it’s a 34-31 type game that could go either way. Last year ain’t this year and the Eagles need some work. They have some real question marks at OC and DC. The early season schedule for the Eagles is forgiving for them to learn on the fly but they still need to grow into their roles.
Yep. They’ve scheduled an elaborate game of hide and seek. How was the wedding weekend? Clearly you made it out of the city alive so the major mission was accomplished.I believe they are honoring the escaped convict at halftime….

Nice! Glad you had a good time. Reading Terminal Market is a treat. The Loews hotel was tremendous, valet parking was a huge plus, took a trolley to the reception, passed a bunch of tranqs lying on the ground on one side street……reception was excellent, bolted before dessert to hit 101 Speakeasy to meet a law school friend of my wife…..great place, need a membership to get in….went to the Philly Terminal Market, could live there, great variety of food…..positive visit
I like your positivity.I like the Vikings...plus I have to make up for the fact that I chose them in the eliminator pool for Week 1...thus dooming their chances against Tampa.
At least I don't have to make any more picks this season...
