Yeah, Darn man is so far proving the narrative that he just needed a shot to start on team with a few good weapons around him and he could manage to shine. Dude is getting a massive pay day from someone at the end of the season if he doesn't implode.

I have to agree with you. Darnold isn't just playing well, he's playing like a top draft pick like he was selected all those years ago. He's playing looks more legit than it does like a fluke.

That depends. I'm not ready to say give up on McCarthy. I still think McCarthy is ultimately the future, but what Darnold has done so far can't be denied. Vikes will offer him a 3 year fully loaded deal or something if he finishes the year strong. Keep in mind Darnold was a top 3 pick, so this isn't a total Case Keenum case where no one ever thought he was capable of something like this. It's more like proof that he is capable of succeeding in the right environment.

They look great in Green Bay so far today, let's hope not.

Something like a 3 year deal wouldn't be out of the question to bring Darnold back. But if he wants more than that, they're probably stuck letting him walk. They'd be fools to not attempt to bring him back if he keeps this up.

It was obnoxious how easily the Vikings let the Packers back into the game. As Pete Bercich said in the game call. These games are perfect for coaches as 'we' still won, but it gave 'us' a lot to work on for next game.

Believe me, you aren't telling me anything I don't already know. ESPN, KFL, bunch of other sports forums were poppin a long time ago. The ESPN boards of their shutdown year in 2013 were still far from their golden years of the around the mid-2000's, but they were still alright. All I'm saying is, it's hilarious to me that they're 4-0 right now, and it seems like there's still less chatter right here in this thread than there was during the offseason.

I agree, but you can never really complain too much about a road win against a decent to quality division rival.
