Seems odd because back during OTA's he said he was 100%. Maybe just being optimistic back then. Solid dude. Too bad his career was derailed by injuries.

From what I was hearing on the radio this AM, it sounded like Andre Smith was brought in to compete for the job, but in reality, Smith had it and Loadholt wasn't willing to compete for it and was more than likely to be released.

Agreed. It at least sounds like he got his shit together this off-season. We'll see if it parlays to on-the-field production.

I know everyone has talked about the much-improved offensive line going into this season, but I remain skeptical. With this retirement and continued uncertainty about Sullivan, I'm definitely in the "I'll believe it when I see it" camp.

OL is definitely my biggest worry. Fingers crossed for a good receiving corps this year. Other than that, and beadily watching Bridgewater for signs of stress or injury, don't really have many opinions about the team so far this season.

watched last nights game. Observations...Sucked that Bridgewater didn't play at all? Shaun Hill made some nice throws. O line still has issues, no holes for the RBs. Theilen is a player. We have a lot a play makers on D but still aren't stout enough overall. Joel Stave?-uggh

I joked on twitter that they benched Teddy in order to distract us from someone else's not being there, but that doesn't seem to have been the case.

I agree, WR is going to be interesting this year.

Diggs, Johnson, Theilen, Treadwell are locks and I think you carry 6 into the season. Patterson, Wright and Moritz Bohringer all seem to be in the running for the last 2 spots. Fruechte, Sinkfield and Stoudermire seem to be on the outside looking in.
