I've been bouncing from site to site, keep running into problems with trolls. Everyone has been very friendly here. There is a guy named Simmion, came about the same time I did, he is real good guy. You will like him...

I appreciative that.

Vikes were big winners on Sunday without even playing. Both the 6-6 teams lost so now the teams chasing them are all 6-7.

Tampa is now the team we need to be officially rooting against. They are the only ones I could see with a chance of winning out and who would own the tie breaker over us if they do.

2 wins out of the next 3 games guarantees us a playoffs spot. 1 win likely will do unless Tampa wins out. Lose all 3 and, sadly, we still likely would have a shot.

Yeah. I don't care if we make it to the playoffs and are one and done. Progress is progress, and it'll give them some extra time to evaluate what they need against the more elite teams.

I just hope that what we saw from TB on Thursday becomes more of the norm.

Yeah I'm with you. Being a playoff team would be a big step for the team.

The one thing I fear however is a week 17 loss in Lambeau followed the next week by a one and done in Lambeau.

It is almost a certainty that the Pack is going to be the #3 seed if they win the division. And with Seattle holding the tie breaker over us and being a game up on us, it is likely we would be the #6 seed. Which means we would end up having to go to Lambeau in back to back weeks.

I sure as hell don't want to finish off the season with 2 losses to GB in a row.

Of course if we win out (which isn't out of the question), we could be hosting the Pack (or Seattle) as well. Would be pretty damn cool to have what is almost certain to be the final outdoor game that MN will see for 30+ years take place on a snowy Sunday in January.

Vikings waive S Shaun Prater and sign DE Justin Trattou. This has got to be a sign that someone in our secondary is getting healthy.

Not too worried about the Bucs winning out. At STL is tough enough for them and there is still a good chance the Panthers try week 17 for perfection. Plus, their D is so good at times that even if they sit Newton for chunks its probably still a win.

That cards win would have been so nice though.

You just made me really depressed. One win in five years...two wins in six years.

Sendejo and Watts returned to the practice field. Smith, Barr, Joseph and Crichton not practicing today. Well, some good news, let's keep our fingers crossed on the rest. We're Bear hunting this week!!!

Kinda sucks that the ones we really need back are not the ones that are.
