I would guess that a top 20 team probably wins close to 98-99%. There really is no reason to schedule them. Even Saban has said the 5 AQ conferences should only play each other. Texas plays North Texas this year. It is terrible, even if they almost beat Georgia last year. I dont understand the pt of defending the practice. We all know it is just crappy. Most teams do it, but that does not make a good practice. People should just say, "yeah, it sucks. I wish I coudl change it, but I cant. Now beat it".

Isnt that funny, the Coach of Alabama wants to play all FBS teams.

Isnt he also the only coach in the SEC that has voted each year for the last several to play nine in conference games?

Could all this fuss be over this being out of his hands and he just plays the games that are on the schedule? seems like it to me.

And that last part, i tried that to start off way back when and it still gets brought up twice, three, sometimes four times a year. Cant change what we dont have control over and it appears pantie bunched fans need someone to hate, might as well be us huh?

You must be confused if you think Fresno State , Stanford and Boston College are three "fluff" games in a row for USC. Sorry but still no excuse for W. Carolina in Nov. Oh, but I forgot. Your reference point goes only as far back as 2007.

BC is fluff. Fresno is fluff. Stanford is not so fluff, depending on the year you catch them, they used to not be so tough though and they are beatable.

90% of college football teams schedule FCS games. It does suck and I would change it.

However, basically only a few teams get called out for it - and by fans of teams that play FCS teams a good bit of the time. That is what leads to "defense" of it, not the practice itself.

I have loads of fun with tongue in cheek stuff with LSU fans like TB and KV and even Auburn fans from time to time. Trash talk a good bit with the vols twins as well. And it's all cool and in good fun.

But the majority of posters on this forum aren't about that stuff. It's nothing but straight up hate and constant attacking of the team and fans. You guys think it's all fun to you because you don't have to deal with it constantly. It's not like something was said one time and I got upset. It's the constant attacking every single day in thread after thread. On top of that - it's being ganged up on as well.

I seriously doubt many here could or would deal with it. You wouldn't.

Everyone has their limits. As I just said in my previous post - it's not like this is a 1 time thing. Alabama fans - the ones that still post anymore anyway - have to deal with a lot of shit.
