no one really good left. sean smith went to the raiders.. i seriously hate baalke

My opinion is Sean Smith isn't worth $10M a year, over the next four years. He might play well this coming season, but what happens as he gets even older?

Like I said I would love to have Vernon but not at that price. Way over paid for him.

Would've been ok with one 'big name', so Mack would've fit that for me. Also ok with an OG, and in fact predicted that would be our first signing. Off this list, Allen is higher in total than i would want, Incognito is close enough. Odds are offensive linemen can play a few years longer, vice CB's. So ok with Mack and Incognito even though a little older.

Wouldn't have liked either Jenkins at $12.4/year; nor Smith at $10M/year.

Mack(9mill), Incognito(5mill) and Smith(10mill). 25 mill. 49ers would still have 30 mill to save for maybe next year and these 3 moves would of helped us Big time. We would of been a much improved team.

deep your question about smith if he sucks in later years you cut him. you make sure it doesnt hurt with dead money whn you cut him. Baalke is actually good at doing these types of contracts.

Grant Cohn: Trent Baalke’s patience in free agency is the right plan for 49ers

Just thinking i'm surprised Grant Cohn wrote this??!!

Not saying i wanted Baalke to do nothing, am saying it is ok he didn't 'force' a free agent. "Force" means Day 1 bidding war with another team.
still picking up Mack and Smith would of just ate up 18-20 mill. We still would have 40 mill and if we trade Kap goes back up to 55 mill. We would still have money plus adding 2 nice pieces to this team. Remember if we draft a QB we need to up grade this Oline. Rookie QB would get killed behind this oline.

If we sign this Larsen guy it will remind me of singing pears last year. This would have to be for Depth or Camp battle. I don't think he was a starter.

Question: is Pears still on this team?

signing guys for mini camp, OTA, and TC, doesn't mean they'll make the team. Baalke will add a lot more competition by the time the off season gets under way. Even during the off season, new guys are always brought in for competition.

They need to get two starters or three starter for the O-Line and that isn't happening just in the draft at least not this year and in my mind that is so any QB doesn't get killed.

I agree, I guess if AD comes back we we need 1. RT AD, RG Tiller, C-kilgore, Blank, LT Staley.

Honestly I'm not holding my breath on AD coming back and I'm not sure relying on Tiller and Kilgore is a smart move.

Tiller is good. He was rated 2nd best OL on our team when he started. He was even ahead of Boone. Overall grade Boone finished better because he had more plays and Tiller was getting his feet wet. Once he was the full time starter he was 2nd best.

I hope they don't intend to start this that guy. PFF graded him out as badly as Devey.

Broncos traded for dirty sanchez. Looks like they might be out on the Kap trade. Only leaves us with Browns and outside chance the Jets if they lose Fitz.

From what I've read Sanchez is for depth. Sanchez signing is not stopping them from acquiring Kap. Denver is down two QBs this year

Yes I saw that but you think the Broncos would really trade for 2 QBs and give away draft picks for this year.
