Lebron is great(declining now tho), but that is not why the cavs suck. They suck because they are a custom fit team built around lebron. With no Lebron it's just a bunch of random 3 point shooters and rebounders. There is no playmaker. There was before Lebron ran Kyrie out...It shows that the cavs team last year wasn't great (better than his team now), but Kyrie/lebron/Love was a pretty good team and won a championship.

This team was built around LeBron. There arent many guys on this team that can get baskets on their own or are great individual defenders.

The guys that are worth something on the roster, in my mind, are Sexson, Osman, Nance Jr., maybe Clarkson, maybe Hood, maybe TT but not at his contract.

this is the truth. Griffin brought the Cavs a lot of experience, talent, respect around the league. He never should have been let go. Worst move DG has ever made in my opinion.

With Lue gone, you have to take this opportunity to remove any verteran spare parts while you can. Buy out J.R. and trade Korver to Philly for Bayless and a second round pick.

Does any part of you wish they had done the Milwaukee deal with Middleton/Brogdan instead of the Boston deal that was actually made? Only downside would be no Sexton if it was worth it...

This exact scenario is why I thought multiple future unprotected firsts (like 3) along with a couple contracts would have been the Pacers best trade option for Paul George.

I know Oladipo and Sabonis has worked out great, but this could end have ended being even better long term. Because Cleveland could really suck for awhile.
