Real dumb move bu the Browns but looks like they are going to put the 2 # 1's together to go after the Top QB and word is they like Bridgewater. And no way would they ever give a 1 for Mallet, these rumors swirled all summer and it did not happen. And that was With a 2nd or 3rd round pick. Watch out for the Colts in a few. Luck, Richardson, get a WR, they are setting up for continued success down the road.

agreed colts got a stud qb now a stud rb they add a few more pieces and they will be scary.

I hate this trade for both teams (morseo the Browns). I like Richardson, but it's crazy to me to give up a first round pick for a running back in this day an age.

You get a top 5 RB talent for a bottom 10 1st round pick. I don't understand taking a RB in the first 5 picks, but I understand taking a top tier talent at RB in the bottom 10 picks of the first round. The Colts are playoff contenders and this is a move that puts them in a really strong position going forward.

They aren't going to need to package picks to go after Bridgewater. They're just going to be picking first.

In this day-and-age I just don't think the position is valuable enough to warrant giving up a first round pick. True, Peterson pretty much carried the Vikings to the playoffs last year - while he is talented, I do not believe Richardson is on Peterson's level.

Even if the Colts look like Super Bowl contenders later this season, I doubt it will be because of this trade. I think it will be because Luck elevated his game beyond what even the most optimistic fan could have imagined..
