I know but I am saying they did not play all that well

Giving up 10 points….. I think they played pretty well. A team should never lose whenever giving up just 10 points. The Colts have a pair of dynamic rbs. They got 70 yards total. Less then 200 yards passing. Only 14 1st downs. Only 25 total minutes for the Colts offense. Like I said… besides getting sacks they had a very good game.

No team this year has only given up just 10 points and lost. Except the Patriots. Problem was not the defense.

Ok fine. You swayed me!

Offense is fucking atrocious! They can't get together with the D for once, just fucking once

Lowest points total in a game this season. 3rd game this season for the Patriots without a TD.

So much for Bill O'brien being a genius. Then again when the defense is basically in Macs face from the snap it's hard to get anything to go well

But why do they once again go away from what works? I just don't get it

Bill put in Zappe when he did so:

A: if he failed (which he did) Bill would be like, see he's not the answer
B: IF Zappe actually won the game, Bill could be like, "Hey, I benched Mac and look how it went, I'm a genius"
Bill's problem is that he doesn't wield the power that he did ten years ago. He was like the Wizard of Oz, always being able to hide behind the curtain. Did you stay long enough to watch him meet the press after the game. They asked him direct questions about Mac, himself and the team.
He evaded answering anything. Some, not a Boston media type, stated, "So you're not going to answer my question?" Bill got pissed and said, "I guess this is over." He got up and walked out.

The league may take some action. This isn't Foxboro. This was national television. Broadcast by the NFL's own network. This is exactly what Goodell wants. Mark my words. Belichick may have just cost the Patriots their first round pick. Remember, the Commissioner can do whatever he wants handing out punishment. He gets on the phone with Kraft and tells him what he's thinking about doing and I'm sure it would be enough for Johnathan to say to his father, "Don't give up that pick for that asshole. Tell him that he's suspended for the remainder of the season and let's see what Mayo can do as interim. If he falls on his face, we let him go and I'll start looking for someone to take over in February. Blame it on me."

Excellent point.

Since August, the problem has been Mac and the OL. There were many times today that Mac had more than enough time. The interception in the Red Zone was just plain piss poor mechanics. If a QB cannot throw a fifteen yard pass to TE, that's a problem. Throwing that fifteen yard pass eight yards directly to an opposing player in completely different uniform is a problem of a completely different animal.

But the was one problem with the defense. They could not stop a mediocre QB from completing three third and long throws for first downs. The line is so slow that they cannot chase down a second tier QB. The secondary was either out of position or giving the WR too much space. Pittman looked like Jerry Rice against whoever was on him.

Hate to say it, but without Judon or Uche, this defense had zero speed today.

Very good running backs, not a bad defense. Passblockers suck but that may have todo with a QB that has no capability to pass the friggin’ ball. The coaching was horrible and had a temper tantrum and put a cold bench-warmer in only to rub the general manager’s QB’s face in the mud (first time this season I actually felt bad for Mac) … I don’t blame Judon for stayin’ out, cuz I can’t imagine how anyone would want to play on this team …

The pressure is all on the Krafts and I’m getting more confident they will sell within 3 years …

Johnathan wants to run the Patriots and Patriots Place. His brother runs the paper and box business.

Johnathan is the oldest and got first dibs. They're both billionaires already and stay out of the limelight.

Who ever is interested would have to buy the stadium property, Patriots Place Mall and the Medical Center as well as the Casino. Team is worth almost $7B and the associated propertirs have to worth at least $5B more. Whomever bought would have to come up with an offer of about $15B.
Not many people in the New England area with that kind of pocket change except maybe John Henry. NFL would never approve someone who owns a baseball team and a hockey franchise, let alone Manchester United Futbal in England.

I don’t think the purchaser would have to come from NE … or even America
… it’s just a business … like a tire store … the new owner could be some oil-owning- sand bandit

Remember, the NFL ownership is a private club. They vote members in and out. 95% of their audience is the United States and they have business in this country. Jeff Bezos might be the kind of non- New Englander who might want to buy all of the property that's attached and the land that's attached to the west of the stadium.

Does Bill ever answer any questions? He should get fined for just saying stupid reply, "we are onto (insert team name) and "we need to play better on all 3 phases of the game."

A first round pick for being a grump to the media? You’ve said some pretty outlandish shit but this may take the cake.

It was a wise as remark to the wise ass remarks that Bill made to the gathered media in Germany. He never took an opportunity to be polite or answer a question. The league has very strict rules regarding behavior in Europe.

Goodell has an open anvil when it comes to any punishment for players or coaching staffs.

Belichick was rude and surly. Absolutely no need to be so, especially to foreign press.

Bills horrible attitude with the media is the stuff of legend and likely embraced by foreign press.

Some people have legitimate reasons.
Others have excuses.

All we 'know' is what Breer has told us. If we question he other information, then this might be questionable.

Last week he sat JC, Jack Jones and Boutte. So JC's indiscretion was so severe that he's out for 2 games?

My point is that BB's doghouse isn't something that other players want to deal with and it's a turnoff for potential free agents. It could be a major reason why Bill can't sign top free agents on the first day. If I'm an agent, I know what problems my guys have and the last thing I want for them is to be publicly embarrassed by Bill for something that could be handled a bit more maturely. Just sayon'.................
I can only assume that if it were a legitimate reason he would not be in the dog house for it.
