With all of these remarks about the QB class, does this make <gulp> Trubisky and Mayfield more attractive? Because based on the remarks, seems like they get a legit chance to start.

Nothing since last year. He looks ok at times. While he wasn't stellar at KC, that is a tough environment. The one scoring drive he was forced to throw he was ok.

I just dont think he has a future with the team because of the Rodgers contract. So for his sake, he needs to be moved.
In the gme he played, thought he showed very well honestly. Hes mobile with a big arm. If hes learned a few things. Hes a huge unknown. I wasnt a fan of his coming out. But its impossible to value his learning experience behind aaron.

It would be weird if Mayfield wasnt starting anywhere. Unless his injuries last year were greatly exaggerated he should be starting somewhere. Maybe Jimmy G, too, but Id get it if teams werent taking a risk on him. Trusisky getting the nod over those two would be weird imo

I'd be shocked if Trubs doesn't at least begin the season as the starter in Pitt..but if they grab a guy early...and they might, I'd expect a real short leash

I'll throw in my .02

1) Jacksonville Jaguars- Travon Walker DL

Totally fits the Jags style. SEC. High upside.

2) Detroit Lions- Hutchinson EDGE

Detroit runs to the podium.

3) Houston Texans Ekwonu OL

If Thibodaux is a 'me' person then I think the Texans will go elsewhere.

4) New York Jets Thibodaux EDGE

5) New York Giants Evan Neal OT

Another 'run to the podium' scenario. Neal is a bit like a beefed out TE but so was Jason Peters and the Giants will likely see that as a plus.

6) Carolina Panthers Willis QB

Its a reach. Its probably the right play, though, even on a 40% chance of this working out.

7) New York Giants (from Chicago Bears)

What they will do- Ahmed Gardner (CB)

8) Atlanta Falcons Wilson WR

9) Seattle Seahawks (from Denver Broncos) Cross OL

10) New York Jets (from Seattle Seahawks) Jameson Williams WR

This could potentially be going to the Niners for Deebo. I think both teams would pick Williams.

11) Washington Commanders London WR

Wentz loved big targets in Philly.

12) Minnesota Vikings Stingley CB

Stingley falls a tad due to injury concerns.

13) Houston Texans (from Cleveland Browns) Kyle Hamilton S

Chiefs took their Safety. They'll get a better one

14) Baltimore Ravens Penning OT

15) Philadelphia Eagles (from Miami Dolphins) Johnson EDGE

16) New Orleans Saints (from Indianapolis Colts through Philadelphia Eagles) Tyler Smith OT

Maybe a reach but Saints seem to trust their board

17) Los Angeles Chargers Olave WR

18) Philadelphia Eagles (from New Orleans Saints) Dax Hill S

Hill Seems to be flying under the radar a bit but he was a top prospect and has insane wingspan.

19) New Orleans Saints (from Philadelphia Eagles) Watson WR

See pick 16

20) Pittsburgh Steelers Linderbaum C

Ill finish this when I get more time

Well, I hope Trubisky does well if for no other reason but to prove that Nagy was no QB guru.
Would rather see Trubisky win than see Nagy win.

Steelers usually do well with their draft homework too.
Maybe they came to the same realization about the QB draft class and felt a Trubisky project was a better investment.

FWIW, Trubisky did everything right last year. I was sad to see him go. I hope he excels in black and gold.

But just on attitude alone, no way I take Baker over him. Baker’s talent (and it’s debatable whether he’s better at all) isn’t worth the extra cheese for that burger.

Bad timing on starting the mock right as my weekend was starting.

Jordan Davis has Bellichick all over him. Kinda think that's one of the few players in play that would keep them trading down.

McDuffie out of Washington probably next off the board although not sure GB would be the team. Jaire probably on gb long term?

If Kadarius Toney is on the move then Arizona, GB and KC seem like spots that could impact mock drafts

Kenny is a stud.

Getting Baker vibes, only Baker had a better arm. I'm thinking 'was' a stud here applies more than 'is' but we'll see where he lands and if he gets a chance. I'd rather pick up Ryan/Mariotta/Wentz for a year or two in dynasty than Pickett right now until we know what team he's on

I still think Bakers is getting somewhat a raw deal, pretty much everywhere.

The kid had 3 straight years where he wasn't too bad at all, looked like he was right on the cusp of greatness, and then one year where he stunk, for whatever reasons.. and now all of a sudden he's worm shit? Hell, I'll take him on my team. He's better than at least 5-6 starting QB's who aren't currently looking over their shoulders at a QB competition.

Shhhh. This for now is pure homerism. Pitt grad x 2 and a steeler fan. Kenny is elite.

He was brutal in two of last three. His attitude stinks.

Carr first four years…
103 TD to 44 INT, 14690 yards, 61.4 comp %, 5.825 y/a
Mayfield first four years…
92 YD to 56 INT, 14125 yards, 61.6 comp %, 7.1 y/a
Carr last four years…
90 TD to 41 INT, 17010 yards, 68.75 comp %, 7.7 y/a

He also played hurt last year down wideouts. Non throwing arm. But can confirm that hurts like a mofo. He needs to be better. But i kinda see a mixed bag.

Good rookie season. The regression. Then a wtf season.

If I was in a city like Cleveland..my attitude would stink too.
And I don't consider his sophomore year to be all that bad. Could've been better, for sure. He was perfectly fine his third year.

And when I said I'd take him 'on my team',, it was more of a general reference to any team that needs a QB, not necessarily saying he was better than Carr, although I do think it'd be a strong competition in camp if he were a Raider

The way CLE went about getting Watson. He comes with baggage. Someone could make the argument Watson had more talent in HOU. i.e. Didnt sure-hands Hopkins lead all receivers for a while? And then to throw all that guaranteed money at him...

Its not like i want Watson to fail... but there may be some moral justice if he does. Or Baker out-performs him on his next team.

Bakers alright, just like a ton of other guys. Not rooting against him or Pickett, hope they prove me wrong and surprise me, but if you're just good and not great, you usually only get a couple chances. Baker will need to make the most of his next chance or he's done, imo
