Mac Jones was ok last year. Justin Fields we shall see and Davis Mills did ok for a rookie on that trash team

Watson was #12 in 2017
Dak Prescott was a 4th round pick in 2016.

Its possible but it is difficult I agree.

There was ALOT of late draft hype on mills, maybe hes something…he was pretty decent.

Pickett and willis for sure. All the rest could. Theres alot of ridder noise.

There are probably 2 values at QB in the NFL draft.

1) Get a guy with high upside but crazy inconsistency later in rd1 (Watson, Lamar)
2) Get a guy who lacked talent around him but checks all of the boxes (Mills, Dak)

Daks oline was absolute trash in college IIRC.

The guy you generally want to avoid it seems is the guy who only projects to have an average upside in rd1. Mac Jones is arguably in that category but you could also argue that his ball placement was elite for a college prospect.

As always I expect qbs to go early. I see a lot of trades early this year.

I won’t be surprised if Carolina is jumped. Or if Carolina has to trade down to get their qb


My advice to all teams is if they want a qb they should always trade down. Let the qb know the team actually wants you and has faith in you. Don’t play games with them from day 1!!!!

And I know this year is supposed to be a weak qb class. But that really means nothing. If a team needs a qb and wants one now they should act on it now. The draft is not really about hindsight!! It’s about potential futures.

Kinda sort of. I mean unless you think he will be a stud out of the gate. Chances are he won’t take big money in his extension. And if he warrants that then a team would be happy to pay it because they have their future qb.

Yup. Kind of nice to suck and not have any reason to improve in such a weak class. Looks good that they will be. Top 10 pick next year. In an expected better class.

Sucking is the best way to rebuild IMO.

Yea. I feel like it’s an over reaction to how bad people think this class is. And probably just a Wisconsin based rumor.

I do agree that its mostly because of this lame crop of incoming QBs but ive seen it said several times.

Nothing since last year. He looks ok at times. While he wasn't stellar at KC, that is a tough environment. The one scoring drive he was forced to throw he was ok.

I just dont think he has a future with the team because of the Rodgers contract. So for his sake, he needs to be moved.
