I agree with Meltzer here. Hold on to him UNLESS some team wants to overpay out the ass for him.

If he produced like he did last year i wouldnt want to give him up but this year i think is more like how he will play for us for the rest of his contract and i dont think his value will be any higher than it is now. Im sure we could get a good pick for him. We are'nt losing that much if we get let him get away IMO

talbot does his role perfectly and has a great contract for that role

however, if you can get a first or like a 2nd/3rd or two 2nds from someone, i think you make the deal.. with picks in the first 2 rounds at least, you hope to get more than what talbot brings

you definitely dont move him to move him, but if you can get a high value pick or multiple decent value picks, i think you move him in hopes that the player you draft exceeds what talbot brings

i also think if rinaldo continues to play the way he has, and his defensive game is truly better than coaches trust him with like he says, he could replace what talbot brings

Rinaldo can certainly fill Talbots role probably better than Talbot does maybe Harry Z also if he gets a chance and Laughton so i dont see why we woudnt trade him if a half decent pick or picks would come back. Im not saying to trade him for a loaf of bread

rinaldo is a former first round pick. he has some skill in there and i think we have seen it this year.

Myers will NOT get traded. It seems like the majority of the Sabre fanbase I know want him out? I just don't think the Sabres brass will let him go with a friendly cap hit and the guy is only like 22. It would cost a lot in return I believe. A guy like this needs a summer with a Chris Pronger to grow a sack. His puck moving skills are excellent. I would trade Buffalo in a second to get a guy like Myers.

Yes me too but I doubt that anything happens...especially in the conference. It would take a lot to do it.....

I could get on board with this. Pitt just made a trade with Dallas maybe we start trying to steal from the poor and get rich.

What would it take to get him?

i dno.. i wonder what it would take.. it'd definitely be a 'buy-low' type situation though.. and his contract his very risky, so they cant be wanting too much for him

I would be all over that .... well, it would depend on the price, but a very very interesting proposition.

simmonds was out indefinitely with a concussion earlier in the season, and he only missed a couple games.. so, we'll have to wait and see.. i dont think this holds up a trade for danny B.. might hurt his stock a little though

Heh! I don't think his stock was very high to begin with. I want him gone. We def didn't miss him at all last night.

Briere as a hired gun for a playoff run holds alot of stock.

He has more points then anyone in the playoffs since the lockout
