ya that's a steep deal by nashville.. but they had to make a splash today/this week to impress on suter/weber that they want to win

nashville is going to be a VERY tough out come playoff time

i really think homer did a fine job. didn't overpay for either grossman or kubina (especially considering the market).. still have a mostly full compliment of picks in the draft this year.. didn't move any roster players..

i'm glad homer didnt jump in to another goalie.. the last thing we need is confusion over who's going to start, who's going to backup, who's gunna sit in the press box, and who's gunna start for the phantoms

Yep agreed I think we all agree that the D needs to get better and he attempted to fix it early on. If this quick fix doesn't work then he can work on it over the summer when the price isn't astronomical. In any case this team will go where the D takes it and they should have enough to make a cup run if the rookies are ready.

I'm going to make a bold prediction. Now that the TD is over, I think this Flyers team and Bryzy are going to go on a very, very hot streak starting tonight in SJ. JVR can put the rumors of being traded to bed and concentrate on scoring. Briere starts to find his groove tonight. This is the game folks that turns our season hopefully into a magical season. Canary was a start. I really think it starts tonight. Unfortunately the game is on to late for me to watch.
