I heard that sending out Deng would open up close to 3 max slots. JC's contract going out opened up 2 max slots
Yep......if they renounced everyone.

No need to do that before having 1 or 2 max dudes on the hook.

Lopez and KCP, sure....wouldn't cut bait with Julius until I had to.

....very possible you could keep Randle too.

I honestly don't know that you will get LeBron.

But, I'm betting some of the lower max contract RFA's like Aaron Gordon will be in play.

I don't think the Magic are gonna pay him.

Lakers won that trade. Cavs still don't stand a chance to beat the Warriors
They had to try. Didn't give up much and got better.

Plus I thought the Warriors weren't getting to the WCF?

This says it all

I love the moment of sheer panic on that white dudes face as LeBron jumps at him.

If nothing else, the Cavs have two young players with upside and don't have to deal with IT's mouth lol.

Garbage trade for LA if you don't use that cap space this year. Thomas doesn't pair up well with Ball at all. No point in resigning him. Nance is a useful role player that's cheap that can be resigned to a fair market deal. The draft pick will be in the low 20s. You're better off keeping the players and moving them at a later date if that's the best you can do

This trade is worthless for the Lakes unless they get bigtime FA’s

Lakers haven't gotten a splash FA in 20 years. They're not getting no big name lol.

Prior to about 4 years ago...when did the Lakers ever need to worry about signing anyone other than their own FA's?

Lebron ain’t going to the Lakers lol. But wonder if the Lakers still wat till 2019 to get one of these max FA’s
Why isn't he going to the Lakers? It's not a lock but it's hardly an "lol"

So the Cavs basically gave away Kyrie Irving for Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr.

Still not worse than the Suns trading Bledsoe for literally nothing, but damn.

You're leaving out the Nets pick, which is currently 1 game out of #1 overall, as well as Crowder (still a great contract, even on a down year) and Zizic.
