@gordontrue @Shanemansj13 As for JC, and Nance...you're getting 2 very Nice young players. JC is an athletic combo guard, and Nance is a do it all player, that will fit REALLY well coming of the bench. He's not a floor spacer however

Yeah at first I thought it was the nets pick. They just wanted to get young players for IT since they didn’t want to pay him. Hopefully both these guys breakout with Lebron around them

When James leaves......they'll have Love, Walker, Clarkson, Nance, and whatever else they have to try and rebuild....

Well, the pick is basically a swap for the BKN pick which will of course be better. But yeah, not great return on Kyrie.

You're way off.

Both teams benefit and get what they need from this trade. The Lakers got more of what they need, but the Cavs benefit as well.

The Lakers now have the cap space for 2 max guys and with the 1st round pick, they may be able to use that to get rid of Deng's contract which would give them almost enough for 3 max guys.

The Cavs get younger and more athletic. This could very well get them out of the East, but not a title.

Lakers haven't gotten a splash FA in 20 years. They're not getting no big name lol.

Windhorst just said that this increases the Lakers chances of getting Lebron and increases the Cavs chances of keeping him.

He also said that this moves opens the cap space for the Lakers to get 2 max guys and that they can possibly use the pick to move Deng's contract and open up a near max 3rd spot.

Moving Deng will likely have to wait until the draft.

They can't move the Brooklyn pick until then.
