I didn't contradict myself. There are FAR less roids in the rgame today, but guys are still getting popped. Offensive numbers are still down, despite the lack of great pitching. Players today are soft as baby poop(for the most part). Pitch limits, innings limits....guys didn't have TJ surgeries like they were eating skittles back in the day because guys were actually allowed to throw...Yu Darvish never has arm trouble in his career until he came to the U.S. and was forced to alter his throwing program which contained long toss every day and extra mound work between starts

Yes, but pitchers throw harder now than ever before... How many pitchers pre-1960s ever reached 100MPH?? I don't know for sure, but I bet the average speed of a pitch has increased dramatically from pre integration years to modern baseball... And maybe that is why more pitchers get hurt, because they throw harder and harder more often...

They don't throw harder than Nolan did Milk, and he didn't have arm trouble. He's credits that ti a throwing program like the one Darvish was on, and blames all the injuries today on pitch limits and lack of throwing between starts

Nice sample size of 1 player. Totally indicative of the whole population! We really need more great posters like you

There aren't great athletes who are white in the NFL today? Nearly every QB in the NFL(and college) were pitchers in HS

At the max, NFL is 30% white. And not all of that 30% are QBs.

In other words, you're using a very small percentage of football players in your example. Not helping your argument, once again..

I am not comparing Nolan, Nolan played his whole career post expansion... And Nolan is Only one pitcher... Has Kershaw have major arm problems- No, not yet at least... Has Felix, No... we cant just use one player as an example because they are likely to be the exception... its anecdotal at best...

You can pull up graphs, WAR numbers, what you heard someone say on sportscenter, what you read on bleacher report.....what you can't do is pull the team since 2010 that can beat a team from over 100 years ago....

There's a difference between an analogy and making something up

It's only an analogy if it makes sense, what you did was use some numbers that have nothing to do anything or in other words making chit up as you go.

Ok, I'll dumb it down even further. In one class, 5 students got a C. In another class, 10 students got a B. Which class knew the material better, strictly based off their test scores?

Translation: I'll say something that can't be proven one way or another to help my argument.

I really don't think basketball steals players from baseball... Football, I can see it...

I already did like 10 posts ago. 2015 Royals vs. 1926 Cardinals.

By the way, we're again comparing a five year span to a 50 year span, but I can make correctly make the comparison as needed anyway.

In a way, I'm helping it. There isn't a team in the last 10 years that wouldn't get blown out by the 27 Yankees, even a dimwit like Omar can see that(his lack of providing such team as evidence)...and while there were no African American players in the MLB in 27, there were African American players.... Imagine if Josh Gibson, Satchel Paige or Cool Papa Bell were added to those great Yankees teams.....

Use what ever moronic chit you want, you were wrong. who are these 100 players with a OBP of .350? Only 42 current players have a career OBP of .350 or higher so if you are going to try to win an argument with numbers that aren't real maybe it's time to admit you haven't a clue and move along.

Motherfucker. I wasn't being fucking literal. I WAS SAYING THAT HAVING A LARGER QUANTITY OF BETTER PLAYERS IS BETTER THAN HAVING A SMALLER QUANTITY OF INFERIOR PLAYERS

motherfucker. I bet Adam and Eve really existed to you, didn't they?
