Why don't you, big mouth?
I know what the results are "Ass wipe" do your own work, what a freaking douche...![]()
You don't know nothing you can't look up. That's not knowledge.
Who won the Natty this year Wishbone?
The best margin of victory in a season > any OU team.
Sorry, but thems the facts. Ya dig?
Here is my knowledge, My first game I saw in person was in 1961 USC against UGA in Cali. I was a teenager.. I have more knowledge in my " shake" than you do in your little world of make believe
Who's your Daddy fishin? It's okay to admit it!![]()
And yet you get your information from me and use phrases I created and I get nothing but lame insults from you. You can shoot your mouth all you like, you're not fooling me.
No, I take your information and turn into the shit that it is..![]()
Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life.
Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life.
What is really sad is, yet customary on this site is, that when you have nothing, folks tend to hurl insults, such as you. I really don't have a problem with that. I can run with the big boys, being I've been around the block more times than the mail man, literally.
What I have a problem with is the ignorance that exist in this country, our future young people see life through the worm hole that is their anal glands, You my friend fit the bill
Did you really post this #@$%!
I thought we were discussing the "BCS era" but then you select one season, the 2009 season, to show how bad UF scheduling is and you still screw it up. ND was NOT a top 25 team in 2009. Massey (the BCS computer guy) compiles over 100 ranking systems and publishes them. Here is his compilation for the year 2009. College Football Ranking Comparison It shows ND with an average ranking of #51 (far from the top 25).
Next, yes in 2009 UF played Troy, FIU and (FCS) Charleston Southern in OOC games. They also played FSU OOC. USC played tOSU, ND and San Jose St (which you omitted). The Massey composite has these teams as FSU (#39), Troy (#53), FIU(#107) and Charleston Southern (???) as they are FCS. The composite has tOSU(#6), ND (#51) and San Jose State (#113). So, Troy was about as good as ND that year, tOSU was better than FSU, and FIU was about as bad as San Jose State. The Charleston Southern game was an EXTRA game for UF. So far USC schedule is better than UF's. However, unless you are going to pull the BSU card and say that all that matters is the OOC schedule then we need to look at the entire schedule in 2009.
Omitting Bowl games and using the Massey composite numbers here are the schedules
UF played #1 Alabama ; USC played #6 tOSU
UF played #14 LSU ; USC played #9 Oregon
UF played #21 Arkansas; USC played #28 Stanford
UF played #27 Georgia ; USC played #30 Oregon St
UF played #37 Tennessee ; USC played #33 Arizona
UF played #39 FSU ; USC played #41 Cal
UF played #42 S. Carolina ; USC played #49 UCLA
UF played #48 Kentucky ; USC played #51 ND
UF played #50 Miss St ; USC played #55 Wash
UF played #53 Troy ; USC played #72 Arizona St
UF played #98 Vandy ; USC played #110 Wash St
UF played #107 FIU ; USC played #113 San Jose St
UF played #??? Charleston So. ; USC played no one
Now, all can see that looking at the ENTIRE schedule UF's was tougher than USC.
In addition, YOU cherry picked 2009. The 2 AP Ranked opponents and one AP top 10 opponent played by UF is the FEWEST that UF has played since 1989 (25 years).
So, UF's worst schedule in the past 25 season was STILL tougher than USC's!!!!![]()
So, let's look at USC's and UF's NON-BOWL schedules over the BCS era.
Yes, UF has played NINE FCS teams!
1998 Citadel, 2003 Florida A&M, 2006 Western Caro., 2008 Citadel, 2009 Charleston So., 2010 Appalachian St., 2011 Furman, 2012 Jacksonville St., 2013 Ga. Southern.
USC has played ZERO.
BUT,
First the positives...
How many BCS/Major opponents with winning records?College Football Trivia
USC: Home 46, Away 42, Neutral 2, Total 90
UF: Home 43, Away 42, Neutral 15, Total 100
How many NON-BCS/Major (FBS only) opponents with winning records?College Football Trivia
USC: Home 6, Away 2, Neutral 0, Total 8
UF: Home 13, Away 0, Neutral 0, Total 13
How many AP Top 25 opponents?College Football Trivia
USC: Home 22, Away 24, Neutral 1, Total 47
UF: Home 28, Away 28 Neutral 13, Total 69
This total DOES NOT include the 5 AP Top 25 ranked teams UF played in CCG’s.
How many AP Top10 opponents?College Football Trivia
USC: Home 9, Away 11, Neutral 1, Total 21
UF: Home 10, Away 17 Neutral 6, Total 33
This total DOES NOT include the 3 AP Top 10 ranked teams UF played in CCG’s.
Now, for the negatives...
How many BCS/Major opponents WITHOUT winning records? College Football Trivia
USC: Home 41, Away 43, Neutral 1, Total 85
UF: Home 24, Away 24, Neutral 1, Total 49
How many NON- BCS/Major opponents WITHOUT winning records?College Football Trivia
USC: Home 7, Away 3, Neutral 0, Total 10
UF: Home 15, Away 0, Neutral 0, Total 15
How many TOTAL FBS opponents WITHOUT winning records?
USC: Home 48, Away 46, Neutral 1, Total 95
UF: Home 39, Away 24, Neutral 10, Total 64
Finally,
How many FCS opponent?
USC: Home 0, Away 0, Neutral 0, Total 0
UF: Home 9, Away 0, Neutral 0, Total 9
Folks like you are SOOOO blinded by the fact that UF dares to play FCS teams that you can’t see beyond the end of you nose. IF we decided that UF be penalized ONE AP Top 10 opponent for every FCS team they played, UF’s schedule would STILL BE BETTER than USC’s!!!!
How many AP Top10 opponents?
USC: Total 21
UF: Total 33 - 9 = 24 (still 3 more than USC)
This total DOES NOT include the 3 AP Top 10 ranked teams UF played in CCG’s.
How many AP Top 25 opponents?
USC: Total 47
UF: Total 69 - 9 = 60 (still 13 more than USC)
This total DOES NOT include the 5 AP Top 25 ranked teams UF played in CCG’s.
How many BCS/Major opponents with winning records?
USC: Total 90
UF: Total 100 - 9 = 91 (still one more than USC)
AND you can't escape the facts
How many TOTAL FBS opponents WITHOUT winning records?
USC: Home 48, Away 46, Neutral 1, Total 95 This is 31 more lousy games than UF played!!!
UF: Home 39, Away 24, Neutral10, Total 64
Just because USC traveled to play lousy teams DOESN'T make them GOOD games.
Why don't you try this bullshit with OOC BCS opponents say over the past 20 years, then the wash will comeout
I was right. You can't handle the truth so you pull a Boise State lame excuse and want to pick 3 games a year (what a joke).
Not only that but you are ignorant too.
Over the past 20 season in OOC games, both USC and UF have 56-13-1 records. UF has played 11 AP Top opponents vs 10 for USC. UF has played 20 AP Top 25 ranked opponents vs 21 for USC. USC has played 18 BCS opponents that DIDN'T have winning records compared to ONE for Florida. Now, if you want to include BCS and NON BCS teams then UF is closer to what USC plays. USC has played a total of 30 opponents that DIDN'T have winning records vs only 27 for UF. Tell me again WHY USC travels to play teams with losing records? If you are going to play sucky teams why not play them at home and save money?
Now that we have played your silly game, why don't we look at the IN- conference schedules???? Afraid???
Too bad..
Over the past 20 seasons in IN-Conference games (excluding CCGs), UF has played 31 AP Top 10 teams vs only 17 for vaunted USC. Similarly, UF has played 65 AP Top 25 teams compared to only 40 for USC.
Against ALL BCS teams (excluding Bowls), UF has played 48 Top 10 vs 28 for USC, has played 93 Top 25 teams compared to 63 for USC, and has played 125 opponents that had winning records vs 115 for USC.
College Football Trivia
In all games over the past 20 seasons, UF has played 59 AP top 10 teams and 111 AP top 25 teams. That is 2.95 Top 10 teams and 5.55 Top25 teams EACH YEAR. Your team has played 35 Top 10 and 71 Top 25 teams of that span ( 1.75 Top 10 and 3.55 teams per year). Yes, UF has played 10 FCS teams in 20 season or 0.5 per year but UF also plays 2 MORE Top 25 teams every years than USC DOESN'T play.
USC's entire schedule DOESN'T come close to UF's.
Might I suggest that you look things up next time before you post?
