Nope, you good folks, since you support the current system in which beauty pageant rules make perception trump reality, can't stand it when in actual games played on actual fields by actual teams, my position is a better way of doing it.

Yeah, yeah, I know, you folks want a system based on money and affiliation. I want one based on everyone gets a shot and may the best team win. How silly of me! And damn right, if Fresno has a better record, give them a shot. They weren't good enough and lost, as they should in a truly fair system. That's the beauty of it, if a team is not good, competition will reveal it. And as long as the major conference teams are too greedy or cowardly to play these teams on a level field, then that is the only way to find out, isn't it?

Yet somehow OSU ended up ranked higher than USC on a consistent basis during the BCS. hmmm.
