I still believe he was hurt because it just doesnt make sense to play great in 14-15 finals while being a worse player in 14-15. Along with being a much better overall player this year but then be way worse after coming off the MCL injury, i just dont think he was 100% but thats just me. It takes players longer than 2 weeks to come off any mcl sprain, we wi see
I tend to agree.

where in the playoffs did he get hurt again...?

MCL right...?

Hurt his ankle april 16 against the rockets in game 1 after he went off for like 20+ points in the first half. Then he hurt his MCL like 7-8 days later. Which took him out 2 weeks. I almost forgot he had 2 injuries

point being of COURSE his shot would be off if he couldn't completely get his legs properly under him...

Not necessarily. Steph shoots a lot of off balance shots without his feet completely set. A knee injury would not necessarily affect his shot all that much. What it would affect is his explosiveness. And I think it clearly did.

As for the part about him being well enough to play, well that is tough to say also. In the playoffs, anybody with an ounce of competitive spirit is going to push the timetable of their injury to get back before they are fully healthy. I think we would all be crushing him if he pulled a D Rose and sat out. Now people criticize him because he didn't play well and act like he must have been 100% because he made a few shots in his first game back.

If this injury took place in the regular season, I bet Steph would have been on the sideline for 6 weeks, maybe longer.

Yes, you are so much superior when it comes to basketball knowledge...like when you said the cavs were better without Irving...that was just genus right there....
it is hard to take a guy seriously who HONESTLY thought the Cavs were better with Dellavadova than Kyrie....at that point i think you lose all credibility when speaking of Irving EVER again. lol.

Please find where I said that. Until you can quote it, you can't keep putting it out there. It just isn't true.

I have said all along that Kyrie is overrated. Never said they were better without him. Others may have, not me.

Just out of curiosity how can you be overrated when you put up dominate numbers in the finals and hit the game winning shot?

And i came to the conclusion that kyrie Irving is better...At least the playoff stats back up my opinion

Well you and a handful of Cavs fans have come to that conclusion. Everyone else that watches basketball disagrees with you.

You trying to say he is a top 3 player in the league when he is not even top 10.
Case and point.

When you play better than the person who is considered a top 3 i consider him a top player...

And this isn't like football where 1 game in a series can be a fluke

Kyrie was great in the Finals. He outplayed Steph and the Cavs definitely lose without him. He's still young and its very possible that we haven't seen close to the best of him yet.

That said, I just don't see how anyone can say he's a better player than Curry at this point.

Because Cavs fans are basing his "greatness" on an extremely small sample size? He was only impressive in about half of that finals series.

While he was great, he has been clutch his entire career and these last 2 years are the first years he has had a decent team and he played great...I see no reason why he won't be even better as time goes on

My sample size is the 34 playoff games he has played...It's really not that small of a sample size anymore
