Kyrie had better numbers in the playoffs and a higher PER and win share
Kyrie had better numbers in the playoffs and a higher PER and win share
This is just in reference to the "clutch" factor. As evidence by nearly everything in my post which said Clutch.
Also you can deduce from Kyrie's lack of attempts in the last minute of games or overall shot attempts in those situations that he didn't command the ball nearly as much as Lebron did.
And yet he's still not in the top 10
Fisher never ever ever could even dream of hitting a shot like Kyrie did.
It doesnt get any better than tie game on the road under 1 minute during game 7....Nothing Fisher could ever do would match that- its the fucking pinnacle-
you- as a basketball fan- might never see such a scenario again. Game 7, underdog on the road, under 1 minute, guarded by the 2 time reigning MVP and sticking a fucking dart in his eye from behind the line to secure the motherfucking title. STORYBOOK
*sigh*
If only you had watched basketball before 2014....
First Kyrie didn't come back in the regular season till almost half way through...
And i can deduce that he passed the ball more and was the smarter pg, who didn't avg more TO than assists in the playoffs, making a better % of last minute attempts
How can you pass the ball more, when you don't even have the ball to begin with? Lebron is the facilitator of the offense, as any Cav fan would know. In the last minutes of the game, Lebron has the ball to start with EVERY possession. That's the way it works.
Less turnovers are a result of not having the ball as much. Also he had a better percentage in the playoffs of 3 makes out of 5 attempts, but in the regular season he shot worse than Steph, when Steph is the focal point of the defense.
In the Regular Season, Kyrie played 53 games. Lebron played 76.
Lebron's regular season clutch stats were:
FGM: 39
FGA: 92
FG%: .424
Last Minute Attempts: 33
Last Minute Makes: 15
That's 92 Attempts in Lebron's 76 games, versus 36 in Kryie's 53. That should tell you everything you need to know about who has the ball in his hands with the game on the line.
#factsonly
He shoots he scores! Game over. Great stats by the way.
First Kyrie didn't come back in the regular season till almost half way through...so your regular season stats are irrelevant
And i can deduce that he passed the ball more and was the smarter pg, who didn't avg more TO than assists in the finals, making a better % of last minute attempts
Curry took a grand total of 2 more shots in the playoffs in the last minute and missed more, maybe he should have passed?
You might want to check clutch level for 2011, 2012, and 2013...
Wait a second. Are you saying Kyrie's regular season stats were affected but the fact that he was returning from an injury? That can't be true. Everyone knows that the second a player makes their return they are at 100%. Especially in the playoffs, nobody would come back from an injury before they were fully recovered.
LOL.
I guess you didn't watch the finals, because the ball was in kyries hands the entire time when he hit the game winning 3 in currys face
If you are going to say facts only you shouldn't start with a lie
4:53 mark - Lebron hits a 3 to put the Cavs up 2
4:15 - Lebron misses a 2
3:40 - Lebron misses a 2 (shotclock violation)
3:00 - Lebron misses a layup
2:33 - Kevin Love misses a turn around shot from the block
1:56 - Kyrie misses a driving shot
1:27 - Lebron misses a hook shot
0:54 - Kyrie makes dagger 3.
That was the sequence that lead to Kyrie's make.
Kyrie hit an incredible shot. But you're insane if you think he's the focal point of the offense or even the first option at all. Cherry picking one play doesn't make it so. Otherwise Kyrie would be the greatest clutch shooter of all time by your standards.
I hate to break it to you but if lebron was on gs he would be the guy with the ball in his hand as well...You take a back seat to the greater player....Notice how before lebron kyrie was in the top 5 year in and year out...where was curry?
