Yahoo is all over the fucking place.

I still can't bring myself to take D Murray nor Halliburton top 15.

My draft is on the 5th.

NBA top 100 player rankings: Giannis, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant vie for No. 1; LeBron James slips

Some things that stand out:
  • I obviously value C.J. McCollum more than the average fan.
  • Even as a Pacers fan, Myles Turner at #70 is a little high for me.
  • LaMelo at #44 is even lower than I had him @CitySushi
  • And of course, I still scoff at Draymond at #34….
Other than that, nothing egregious.
Wasn't just me on the Ball ranking. Wiggy had him at 24 in his.

Espn rankings is nasty work.

They watched what Jimmy just did in the playoffs and decided he is the 17th best player? Lol

Sad thing is they dropped him a spot from last year. Miami got swept last season in round 1 and he played horrible basketball. This season he got Miami 1 win away from the playoffs and was the 2nd best player in the playoffs

I had him at #15.

While ESPN rankings may suck, the validity on one's rankings should not be based on where Jimmy Butler is ranked.

Any list with Jimmy butler not between 10-12 is a shitty list. You and the espn guys clearly did not watch the playoffs

Not a peep about PJ Tucker being Top 100?

I expected outrage.

Not a single person can look me in my eye and tell me Trae Young, Harden, or PG 13 should be ahead of Jimmy after last season especially when 2 of 3 of those players don't play both sides of the ball.

KAT and Dame shouldn't be ahead of him either

And again, not every list is based on Jimmy Butler. Get over yourself for thinking he only deserves one of three spots.

  • 24 percent three-point shooter combined the last three seasons.
  • Hasn't played in 60 games in any of the last three seasons.
  • Hasn't played in 70 games since 2017.
  • Shot a combined 21 percent from the field in Games 4 & 5 the vs Boston.
Based on those factors, #15 is actually quite generous. The ultimate reason he's there is that he was the franchise guy playing in two of the last three conference finals.

Never been known for 3 pt shooting.

Dame and PG dealt with injury issues recently as well

Yeah let's nitpick 2 games out of an understanding 17 game playoffs run.

Why not mention the bounce back from those 2 games?

47/9/8 on 55% shooting in a must win game 6
35 and 9 on 54% shooting in game 7

Jimmy was a top 2 player in the playoffs....only Luka was better and that is a debate as Jimmy play both sides of the ball

Tatum who is ahead of him played like trash in 4 of 6 games in the finals....also had a stinker 2x each vs Milwaukee and Miami but yeah ;et's use Jimmy struggling in 2 games as the reason he shouldn't be ranked higher lol

I have him over Dame, KAT, and PG.

And admittedly my rankings came of before the conference finals were even played... But let's not forget the fact that his superhero performance in Game 6 was a direct result of how poorly he played in Games 4 & 5.

Butler shouldn’t have been on the court in games 4 and 5.

He was injured in game 3.

Think he deserves credit for trying to gut it out.

How are you connecting a guy playing well in game 6 as a direct result of him playing hurt and his game being off two games prior? That makes no sense. You called out two bad games when for the majority of the playoffs he was lights out.

For a guy that no longer plays for Philly and whom actually goes out of his way to bash your team, your hard on for Butler is interesting to say the least.
