I hate to break it to you but if lebron was on gs he would be the guy with the ball in his hand as well...You take a back seat to the greater player....Notice how before lebron kyrie was in the top 5 year in and year out...where was curry?

Steph Curry was in the playoffs, you know playing meaningful games, as you put it.

Kyrie was chillin in Cabo or something.

What does that have to do with your clutch stat we are discussing? Moving the goal posts?

Did Curry even make the playoffs at 23?

laughingsmiley.gif ...When Curry was 23 ('11-'12 season) he only played in 26 games. Not a fair comparison.

First Kyrie didn't come back in the regular season till almost half way through...so your regular season stats are irrelevant

And i can deduce that he passed the ball more and was the smarter pg, who didn't avg more TO than assists in the finals, making a better % of last minute attempts

Curry took a grand total of 2 more shots in the playoffs in the last minute and missed more, maybe he should have passed?

You might want to check clutch level for 2011, 2012, and 2013...
at 24 kyrie is hitting hte game winning shot in the finals

at 24 we were wondering if stephs ankles would ever let him become an all star and he was behind the indominable montae ellis in the pecking order

To me Kawhi Leonard is not better than Kyrie Irving, or Chris Paul.
My list is
LeBron James
Stephen Curry
Chris Paul
Kevin Durant
Russell Westbrook
Damian Lilard
Anthony Davis
Kyle Lowry
James Harden
Dwayne Wade

Kawhi is a hard one for me. Looking at the stats, when I see the efficient production he put in offensively this year, combined with his unquestionably elite defense... I can convince myself he is a top-5 player in the league.

But then, when I actually watch a Spurs game... its hard for me to hold to that opinion. I think it might be a product of the Spurs system. No one player is ever featured and you don't see the ball in any one player's hands for very long. But watching the Spurs go down to the Thunder... it felt to me like Kawhi didn't have much of an impact at all and I remember thinking.... "This guy got more MVP votes than LeBron!?!?"

Didn't Leonard get more MVP votes than lebron the last two years?

Those 6 games in the Summer League have me sold.

But seriously, I'd swap Simmons out and probably put Leonard or Lillard in. Towns doesn't even belong in the conversation . . . yet . . . but I wouldn't be surprised to see him take that step this season.
