I'd love to see Tom Brady play for the Falcons. He'd be gunslinging for his life like Favre used to do and he'd be leading the league in INTs. You could put a good HS QB behind the line Brady has always enjoyed and he'd excel.

Gotcha. So let's praise the guy because they eeked out wins against bad teams. The wins are on him, the losses are on the D. Right.

Did you watch any of those games? Would you say that Brady played like an elite QB in any of them, or are you just going to stick with the ole "wins and losses" bullshit that does nothing but prove that Alex Smith is the best QB in the league?

There are at least a dozen college QBs I can think of off the top of my head who are more accurate passers than Tom Brady.

"Oh, well that's the receivers."

Tom Brady has great receivers.

"He can make ANYONE a superstar."

Tom Brady has bad receivers.

"It's not HIS fault they're terrible!"

The Brady knob-slobbing is unparalleled in sports.

"Brady is nowhere near his receivers on almost all passes this season cause he's trying to make them work harder. No QB does that!!!"

Beyond belief... :L

Try harder. BF4L wore that amateur comeback out months ago.

Tom Brady is a QB with skills diminishing at a normal rate per his age. He plays in a bad division and has had a couple of hideous games and a few bad ones. He's not even the best QB in his division and using the same criteria you know-slobbers are using to try to convince me he's the second-best QB in the league, I'll tell you Alex Smith is immensely better than Brady this season, as is Tannehill.

If Tom Brady didn't have the unstoppable hype machine behind him, he wouldn't be recognized in the top 20 QBs in the league this season.

That's a bitter pill for you knob-slobbers to swallow, but it'll get easier with time cause this guy's numbers are only going in one direction.

Peyton gets better; Brady gets worse.

Just to put things in perspective here: Brady has a QB rating of 74.9. Geno Smith has more passing yards. Yes. I said Geno Smith. 5.94 ypa. Brady has been PEDESTRIAN all year long, and the defense has carried them. Name 5 other players on the Jets offense. Yep, Geno's offense is just as crappy. There is no excuse. Sorry. Brady is supposed to be an elite QB who can make something out of nothing. Not a pedestrian QB. He has been clutch here and there, but so was Tebow. Do people defend Tebow? No.

Brady is 29th in completion %. Tied with Eli at 55.7. And people are giving Eli a TON of crap. Why doesn't Brady deserve the same treatment?

"It's the receivers."

"It just looks like he's got critical accuracy issues. Don't trust the numbers."

"[insert odd reference to random QB like Philip Rivers to prove the greatness of Brady here]"

His team being 6 - 2 is self explanitory. Besides Eli is a jackass.

People used the same excuse for Tebow. Sorry, it doesn't work like that. When your team wins in spite of you, you don't get credit. But just like Tebow, Brady has a cult following that defends everything he does.

The wins? "All Brady."

The losses? "He lost his receivers."

The jackass comment proves you have no business in a real debate, Bulldog. Plus, you're an Angels fan which results in a further loss of respect.

But... but... but... what about Brady's "intangibles?" :noidea:

Every other QB you've listed has played MUCH better than Brady. Its an insult to them to put him in the same category.

Kinda like the year peyton had Blair White, Garcon and Jacob Tamme with the worst run game in the NFL?

Yeah, let's not talk about that.

Brady has put up similar numbers with similar caliber of weaponry and the career numbers are pretty damn identical per game.

You know that's not true, JDM. And even if it were, this thread is about this season. This season Brady has been a liability, plain and simple. Ryan Tannehill on that team and you're easily 8-0 in that pathetic division.

And by all that's holy, you seem to think a serious debate is your cup of tea. Only if it's dishing dirt about someone you're jealous of like Tom Brady. Jealousy does strange things to people and it seems to have impared your eye sight as well as your common sense.
