1.) Peyton was never going to go out on top as the GOAT
2.) Peyton will not be able to beat a true top defense in the Superbowl
3.) Peyton will not survive the NFC West next year if he plays
4.) Brady>Peyton

Denver getting beat was actually a nightmare for Pats fans. Now they KNOW Peyton will return next season instead of going out on top as the GOAT. And if the Pats get handed another free ticket to the playoffs again, Peyton is going to do the very same thing and send them home for the year.

Wow every post Hammer is about Brady I have never seen any poster obsessed about 1 player as you. Still butthurt about the 56 point beating? Remember Brady aint Manning. When he threw 5 td's in first half, He only played the first series in 3rd and then sat down. Peyton would have stayed in there to try and get 7,8,9,10? sound familiar Balt?

A real knowlegable poster and not one green with Envy that ever post is Brady this, Brady that. Manning should thank Caldwell for the gifts in 06 AFCG with 3 drops 2 in endzone otherwise he has no rings and his D going 3 td/ 7 int that playoff run. So thanks to them he is compared with Favre instead of a ringless Marino

Nah. Still wiggle room. Peyton's team beat Tom's a coupla weeks ago, remember?

Anyway, a few years from now Luck will relegate them both to a couple of also rans some folks remember watching.
Therefore the Broncos are the better team than the Patriots.... Takes some real twisting of logic to spin that into saying that Peyton is therefore better than Brady. The real question would be, what would Peyton and Tom's number look like had they swapped teams this year

Whatever, Hammer. It all really is about the Patriots. Nothing else matters.Seattle wins a great victory in the Superbowl and it is still about the Patriots. Thank you for the recognition.....

Noooooooo, it's much more simple than that, my friend and you know it. It's 100% about Hatriots fans' insecurity about Tom Brady. They know this cocoon the dude is surrounded in is fragile and Peyton Manning exposes him for being so absurdly overrated.

One thread, ONE THREAD and you clowns start up with the "obsessed" bullshit and the "you're butthurt about that 2007 Titans loss."

Broken fucking records. :facepalm3:

If Tom Terrific had faced that much adversity, he would have berated the officials, attacked his teammates on the sidelines then cussed out the media after the game.

Tommy would have cussed out the officials then had his chopper pick him up and whisk him away to his Beverly Hills compound at halftime.

"Fuck this. I didn't sign up for this shit."

The party I went to had all Pats fans except for me and my wife. Same with a few others we were invited to. They were all rooting for Denver. That goes for the Giants fans who also invited us. I dunno maybe in CT it was different?

Of course they were! Seattle thrashing the shit out of the Broncos exposes the Patriots for what they really are; a very mediocre team that was handed a free ticket to the AFC CG. This pathetic showing by Denver embarrasses the shit out of Patriots fans and means Peyton will come back next season and ruin their hopes (again) instead of leaving the game on top as the GOAT that he is.
