The S B is in the books. An exciting Seattle teams has destroyed what I thought was a great Denver team lead by a all great QB. And a small minded troll post about his unhealthy love of Pats fans. Its no wonder two day after the SB this board is dead.

112 threads on the NFL board alone are active since the Super Bowl. You're not very bright, are you? :L

Peyton Manning, Denver can't recover from Super Bowl mistakes

Suddenly, the quarterback who had been so upbeat in the days leading up to the Super Bowl, telling jokes and stories, reflecting on his career-altering neck surgeries and deflecting talk about potential retirement, was rattled, and his brilliant 2013 season, perhaps the best of his brilliant career, ended with his worst game since signing with the Broncos last year.

:sigh:

All I can do is shake my head because, honestly, it's beyond belief.

Patriots get their asses kicked by Manning and the Broncos on a dismal outting by Tom Brady.

"Had nothing to do with Brady. It's a team game."

Broncos get their asses kicked after Manning's greatest season in NFL history and setting Super Bowl record for completions.

"He's the worst ever. It was a pathetic choke. He should retire. He's the worst ever."

The complete void of reason, logic and class is mind-boggling and only conceivable by a fan of Boston sports.

Here, let me sum it up...

Yeah because it's so odd for total posts/views to trail off after the last game of the season. I mean most people flood the boards in the off season don't they? :L

Super Bowl XLVIII: Peyton Manning fails to improve the only record that matters - The Washington Post

Had he won it, he would have been discussed as perhaps the best NFL quarterback of all time. Instead, this stinker will now be attached to his name in perpetuity, along with the galling fact he set a new record for Super Bowl completions. For years Manning has dragged around the criticism, like tin cans tied to the back of a high-end car, that he produces more great statistics than great victories, and the noise just got louder.

Peyton Manning isn't even on the same planet as Tom Brady and Sunday was the final nail in the coffin of that debate.

Brady > Peyton and it's farther apart than ever before now.

At best, Peyton is lucky to be in the bottom half of the top 10 best of all time after that meltdown. He looked like Joey Harrington out there vs. Seattle.
