Sim how many weeks has Serena been number 1?

I think she is going on 189 weeks....and will soon pass Hingis.

I agree, Henin is better at clay than Sharapova or Williams.

I would have liked to see what Clijsters could have done had she stayed on the tour and been healthy for a while. I thought she had a great chance to win the 2011 FO (and 10 years after her first FO Final), but she lost a match in which she lead 5-2 in the 2nd set. Even the broadcasters didn't think she was going to lose, commenting as if her win was a foregone conclusion until the 3rd set started.

If looking at history, and just at the FO, Evert and Graf won a lot of FOs.

Evert was 78-6, .929.

Graf was 87-10 at the FO, .897.

Serena consoles Wozniacki

Danish tennis star Caroline Wozniacki has finally spoken out about her breakup with golfer Rory McIlroy.
On Wednesday, only a few days after sending out wedding invitations, McIlroy and Wozniacki called it quits.
They 23-year-old posted a message on Twitter thanking her friends and fans for the support.

That includes fellow competitor Serena Williams.

It was wonderful seeing Henin get whipped into retirement twice, no matter how good she was on clay for a handful of years.

In her spectacular failure of a comeback, she made it to one slam final where she was defeated by her superior, and after that couldn't even make it past the 4th round.

At the only French Open she played after her miserable comeback, she got blown off the court by Stosur.

She lost every match against Clijsters in her failure of a comeback, and a clay match to a player ranked outside the top 100.

Yeah, Wozzz and Serena have a genuine friendship. You just don't see that often on the WTA anymore.

Serena and Vika are very friendly, too.

Wow. If only Clijsters could have done that in a few of those GS matches between 2003-2004.
