You are correct on both the good and the bad. There aren't a bunch of babies whining about banning people and Fordman is extremely lenient. There are also way too many people (both regulars and newbies) taking things personally that shouldn't and that darn near ruins the board sometimes. I've stayed away from that as much as possible the last couple of years after realizing being in the middle of it is both counterproductive and ruins the fun of the board. What I do take exception to is when people come in with an insult right off the bat and then get upset that they get called out for it,especially when they have another teams logo below their name. Then they act like the victim on other boards. Lord knows no board gets the number of trolls that the Cowboys board does, so as one of my favorite Cheers lines goes...tact is perhaps your wisest recourse.

Truth is I respond to posts, not posters 90% of the time and welcome a discussion with anyone regardless of what was or wasn't said by them in the past. The issue was dead until it was brought up elsewhere. I also hate the idea of "their board" and "our board". There isn't one Cowboy fan that has any more right to post on that board than anyone else and the same goes for everywhere else unless the mods decide differently.

Just to clear my part up- sure I have fought for Romo in the past, but for the most part I have stayed pretty clean. I have taken the high road at least 6 times with the guy the other night. Whether I was called idiot , dumb, MF, whatever- I let it go. After nailing him with a few things over the last month , he has waited to get me back . A Packers/ Cowboys thread came up . I dont forget anything. I said when GB and Favre first beat the Cowboys- his first response as I saw many times was WRONG. Well I wasnt. The other night he had a boredom thread going on about Ali/ Tyson. Over the course of 96 posts 10 -15 boxers came up. I decide to bring up Gulota and I get called stupid , dumb , whatever. I had. enough and let him know it. So for the next 50 posts I was called everything in the book again . I just said I wasnt going anywhere.

I responded to someone who responded to me. At no point and time did I make any threats. At no point in time did I cast the first stone. And I'm the tough guy? Not the guy trying to white knight his fellow cowboys fan by yet again jumping into something he had no business jumping in to.

You certainly have an interesting view on things. Not to be unexpected from someone rocking cowboys and yankee pride however.

I stand by everything I have said or will say on here. I stand by the original comment that drew you into this. I can not stand by whatever reasoning you decided to jump in on it however. You took it way out of context. You labled me as a tough guy despite taking that comment however you wanted to take it and not how it was meant. Sorry if I'm a little more forthcoming with how I insult people instead of trying to do it in a round about way as to not come off as the bad guy. I don't play victim very well.

Yeah, but if we are talking about the next 2/3 years, I have to say that the West is the best division in the NFC. I'm not one to go back 10/20 years ago.
