Yep, we've brought in some new toys for Griff to play with. Think Andre Roberts is flying under the radar, he's got talent and will be helped by DJax presence on the field. As will Reed and Garçon. Could be the Posse II...Too bad that other than Trent, we don't have y'alls Oline... Not enough talent there yet...
For the first time in awhile, skins O may actually be able to dictate how defenses line up against them...course gotta get the cohesion and gelling going on... And the ability to score in the red zone. Didn't do a good job of that last year
And it's my hope that Griffin is not used in designed runs (quite a few skins fans surprisingly disagree with me here). Smart Scrambling, sliding feet first, using the sidelines as his friend, bootlegs and maybe a QB draw if it makes sense...yes - gotta take advantage of a mobile QB but why intentionally put him in the role of a running back? We've got one of the best in Al MO and many other options. Griff needs to focus on smart decision making, reading defenses and progressing as a pocket passer.
