Going total homer over my skins pick this week, so don't be laughing...I do realize it's primarily my hopes of not too much rust for Griff being back Under center...:yahoo:

Philly over Houston
Arizona over the Boys
Indy over the Gnats
Skins over the Vikes

Who do ya'll have?

ok now it get's interesting, the Romo injury is huge, Philly wins in Houston, division is won by the Eagles, I think it puts a big gap between the Eagles and 2nd place in the division...

Vikings are playing well, but I think the RG3 has a good game and the Skins win. I think Weeden plays well and the Cowboys beat the Cards. The Giants surprise the Colts in NY. I'd love to see the Texans beat the Eagles, but I think Philly smacks them. Foster is averaging 150 the last month, but Fitz cant throw anything over 10 yards, despite having solid wideouts. I would go with Mallet and let the chips fall

I almost went with Dallas. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they win. I should change my picks to implement my jinx special double whammy :)

Not sure Dallas can win without Romo at the helm.

Obviously the rest of us in the NFC west are all pulling for Dallas today.

It will be interesting. Weeden has had more reps with the 1s than any other back up QB as I'm pretty sure Romo hasn't practiced on Weds this year to save his back and he had reps all thru Training Camp too, so that's a definite advantage. And he looked efficient when he stepped in against us this past Mon. In fact, I honestly think the Boys would have won that game if they'd kept him in.

Cowboys just played a weak schedule, and the media bought into it.

It made for an inflated record. The schedule will probably balance them out more like 10-6 instead of all the hype from a 6-1 start.

They are a decent team.

They are just not really a 13-3 contender type team.

Or....not many teams do well with their backup QB in. They were never a 13 win team, but if Romo comes back next week and plays the rest of the way, I think they could win 11

Weeden can't consistently move the ball on offense and will make some costly mistakes each game. Puts all the pressure on Murray and the running game. AZ keyed in on Murray all game long, as they should have, and you saw the result.

W/O Romo, the 'Boys could well lose to Jacksonville next week. The Jag's front 7 is actually pretty good. They'll pressure Weeden all game long.

I think Dallas beats Jacksonville but their playoff hopes may be going up in smoke...

In the last few weeks, there was a lot of talk about the greatness of the Dallas Cowboys. After TWO straight losses at home, it is the Philadelphia Eagles, at 6-2, and 2-0 in the division, who are in first place in the NFC East.
We will find out if Mark Sanchez is better than Brandon Weeden.

Weeden did not lose the game to Washington

Romo sucked ass in that game. Weeden was fairly flawless....than Romo came back and stunk it up.

if anything, Weeden gave them a chance. It is a bit untrue to blame that loss on Weeden.

Obviously Romo is better than Weeden. But don't blame the Skins loss on Weeden.

Well that game against the Vikes sucked. :gaah:

Injuries are changing the landscape of the division. Amazing that 3 of our 4 teams have now played at least 2 QBs...and it's the start of Nov.
