Chips Quackers are pretty lucky so far

My Cowboys have been lucky 2 so I am not throwing rock inside the glass house but I will shoot the BB gun from the outside at Philly

Just about to breath a sigh of relief for the Cowboys defense then they give up 448 yards. Luck was defiantly a factor in this win. On the upside they kept the penalties down again this week.

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with having a little luck on your side - but then again, doing what Foles did with FOUR backup offensive linemen is pretty impressive - and not being sacked at all is pretty unbelievable.

I thought the 9ers would hang 500 yards on them in game 1but they held them to 319. I haven't figured out this defense yet. Unfortunately I don't think Marenelli has either.

Cowboys D wasn't on the field much the first half against SF because of SF defensive TD's and the Cowboys offense had good drives before shooting themselves in the foot.

I suspect the Eagles' luck runs out against San Francisco. But given the fact that they have massive offensive line injuries/suspensions, starting 3-1 would still be a great thing. If they manage 4-0 that would be incredible. When they actually get Lane Johnson back from suspension, and Jason Kelce and Evan Mathis back from injury, watch out.

I think people are confusing "luck" with making inspired comebacks.


The Eagles trailed in first halves. They dominated their second halves.


I am not sure I am willing to classify that as being "lucky".


Other than maybe Indianapolis (at best maybe), there was no great lucky breaks or flukes.


They earned their comeback wins. They did not stumble into wins by blind luck.

It was a great job by foles but a little dramatic on the 4 backup linemen comment. Peters and Kelce were in there most of the game.

At crunch time, they were gone.
Amazingly, Foles won the game with ONLY Todd Herremans in there.

Really nice job by Capt Kirk, but can't like the last series he played. Had the chance to really make a statement...came up short.
