It's not a completely merit-less post.

Should you include those that 'should' make it in, or those who 'are the most dangerous' teams?

For example, Temple was also a 10 seed. No way in hell Temple wins 3 games. I don't care how favorably the bracket breaks for them.

The committee almost picks the teams which have the most talent and can make the most noise. And that is Syracuse.

St. Marys deserved a bid over anybody else who got shafted in my opinion.
Well I thought SDSU had the talent to win at least a game or two in the tourney, if they had gotten Cuse's seeding they would have had a very good shot of making the sweet 16. I might have been upset for St. Marys to take that spot over SDSU, but at least it would have been a mid-major who dominated their conf. like the Aztecs. I didn't watch much of their games so I couldn't say how dangerous they'd have been as a double digit seed.

I guess if I was gonna say who should have made it, it'd be between St. Marys, Monmouth, SDSU, and St. Bonaventure. My somewhat biased opinion would say of those 4 SDSU was most dangerous and most deserving, but if not them then Monmouth.

Hey jontae....I haven't looked at the schedule...when do your boys play? You're my only hope in my office pool.

That loss to USD was killer. If not for that, you guys would have been in, and fairly easily I'd say.

8:49 EST. Probably more like 9:10.

Maybe even 6. Scary. 5 at minimum if Ville doesn't bow out and a healthy Jefferson probably gives the ACC 6 of 8 in the elite 8

Not a chance in hell. You realize that changes everything right? Like literally everything.

Now ND isn't play SFA and Wisco.

Duke doesn't get Yale.

A few ACC teams may be forced to match up earlier.

Nova probably doesn't play Iowa. Texas probably never gets a 6 vs UNI. Cuse isn't a 10. Someone doesn't even make the tourney.

That's what happens when you have 15, 16 teams.

Funny, but when the Big East was putting 5, 6 teams in the Sweet Sixteen, and 4 teams in the Elite 8, ACC fans were crying about how the Big East was bullshit, and not even a conference because they had too many teams.

They never put 6 teams in. This is the first time ever a conference ever did that

You'll never see this ACC fan, claim that these large conferences are good for basketball.

also, the Big East from 2006-2013, never put 6 teams in the Sweet 16. and they only put five teams in the Sweet 16, once. They also only put 4 teams in the Elite 8 once.

It was more common for the BE to only put two teams in the Sweet 16 during that time span, than it was for the Big East to put in 4-5 teams.

Truth. I was constantly getting kicked in the head by ACC fans. And I was bashing them back with their two team conference with the rest women's teams.

But the acc has the Cuse now. That's all changed. :pound:

Also, when the Big East had 16, everyone else had 10-12. These days, you have a 15 team ACC, 14 team Big Ten and a 14 team SEC.

Still not a fan, but there are at least 3 major conferences that now have at least 14.

and yes, the ACC was a terrible 2 team conference from 2006-2013. Those were the definitely the dark days of ACC Basketball.

Thanks for the support mall.

I put all my v/cash on the cuse on the Dayton game and then let it ride again on the zags. In two weeks I went from 800 v/cash to my just over $3000 today. I did lose $300 betting on Duke. I think @douggie and @redseat should cover that for me. :-)

@SportsHoopla Bookie tried suckering me into going all in on the $3200 to $100 dollar odds on SU winning the tournament. He didn't know I learned long ago that odds don't win a fight.

@jonvi wussed out and didn't put it all on Cuse at 32 to 1. You could have been rich bro

That one and at home to grand canyon were both horrible, the loss to Boise sucked too but it's hard to run the table in conf. no matter how bad the rest of it is. Fisher needs to stop scheduling any games on ships, at Parks, or outside at all. I wasn't surprised the Aztecs were left out even if I thought they should have made it, but if they close out Fresno State then it's not even a debate.

I would like to formally apologize to Nigel Hayes for calling him names yesterday that should not be repeated. You're a good player that possibly (probably) got fouled and/or made a bad decision towards the end of the game. Life goes on. Hakuna Matata

Sorry no can do.... I didn't think they'd win sadly... But maybe I can work something else out.

So for the halftime report, we get the muppets of Clark, Kenny, Charles and Bryant?

Kind of funny...but meh.
