Having well-affirmed knowledge that a team that has lost 2 of many games would consider it's season an utter failure would logically lead to the fact that the team in question must dominate the great majority of competition they face.

I think it is really tight right now. Lose the next 2 and its o Kansas and good bye. That is probably around ~5% chance of happening. Split the games and finish 6-6, probably about a 35%-40% chance (figure Texas is favored at home vs TCU) . That is probably a 60% chance he is gone. What I am worried about is Texas finishes 7-5, wins both (~55-60% chance). Administration decides to retain Strong. Then Texas has an ugly bowl game and the Administration decides to part ways. That would leave the new staff behind the 8 ball, as Texas would get the ball rolling late. That is why I am hoping the final decision is made right after the TCU game. I am in the part ways camp for the record.
