Ridiculous.
The second round options could be in the mix, but I doubt those 1st rounders. It seems to me that the Lakers are in on Holland, Carter , DaSilva and Holmes. DaSilva or Holmes at 17, the other two probably need a trade up. DaSilva is getting Jaquez comps, but is somewhat capped for upside with his lack of elite athleticism. Game ready though.I saw that tall dude story. Here is another story about the Lakers potential draft selection considerations coming at the end of this week. Alot of mention about guards and forwards. Little mention of pure Centers.
5 Playmakers in 2024 NBA Draft who would fit rumored JJ Redick vision for Lakers
The 2024 NBA Draft has an intriguing list of playmakers. Some would fit the rumored vision of Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick to perfection.lakeshowlife.com
I think the triangle is a bit static for what he has talked about. He's mentioned off ball movement as a key component moving forward and more scripted offense.Maybe Redick will go back to the Triangle offense??!!

How will JJ Redick utilize the Lakers superstars and other key players?www.yahoo.com
Cap space shouldn't be an issue. Because of the new cap rules, the Lakers will have to send out more salary than they bring back due to being over the 1st apron. If DLo opts in, the Murray deal becomes a little easier, but probably requires a 3rd team. At least there are teams that are known to be at least interested in DLo compared to the trade deadline.Of course, if talk of the Young deal is resurrected, then the Murray pipe dream has to be close behind. This is just irritating because Murray ain't worth the excessive asking price either. Our cap space is also suspect at this point.
