This pundit is full of bullshit. Alex Caruso is not worth a 2025 First Round pick, especially when the Pels get first dibs from the AD deal, AND Vanderbilt. A better deal would be Vincent, Reddish, and say DRuss for Caruso and Demar DeRozan.

Yea, we shall see what the Lakers do next week during the draft. The Lakers still have Christian Wood and Jaxson Hayes for the 4/5 spots. They also still have Hachimura, Vanderbilt, Prince, Reddish, and Lewis for those same positions including the 3. So we shall see what occurs.

Reddish and Hayes have player options and Prince is a free agent. They could all be back, sure. The only one really with value to me is Prince.

You don’t have the cap space for the latter one

You can probably keep prince with that minimal bump you can offer

That’s almost mle money iirc

Bulls want a lot to move Caruso, arguably one of the best defending point guards in the league (and on a affordable contract for now). The only way I could see the Lakers getting him cheaper would be to take on Lavine's huge contract. Caruso would be a sweetener to move that contract.

It's not like the Bulls need to move Caruso. They will ask too much and might get it. They turned down a 1st last year at the deadline.

$5M-ish. He has said in interviews that he would like to stay, so the Ham firing hasn't dissuaded him (he was one of Ham's favorites), so I guess we will see. They need to sign Christie first IMO.

JHS is the pick that may haunt the rest of the Lebron laker run

Even if he is good later on

It's funny. So many accuse the Lakers of not planning for the future, then blast them for taking a developmental player in the draft. No matter what they do, it draws criticism. If the Warriors and Heat didn't have so many injuries last season, Podz and Jaquez likely fly more under the radar and the Lakers take less heat for the pick. It's not like Ham was ever going to play him anyway; he wasted a developmental year for Christie to play Cam Reddish too much.

The fear now is that JHS is moved at a cratered value and becomes a solid rotation player or better elsewhere.

As the warriors are showing, two tracks is very hard to pull off

Almost impossible

We shall see. Peeps reporting Redick is the next Lakers HC. Dumbasses in the FO never looked at Cassell or brought Borrego back for a Second interview.

The Lakers could’ve been the ones winning their 18th title had they drafted better in ‘16 & ‘17.

The Lakers passed on Brown and Tatum respectively for Ingram and Ball.

Ouch!
