I think they were when Texass was talking about going to the PAC10 with all it's bitches. The SEC was a much better fit and would open up a lot of markets.

IF the SEC is interested now I don't think so until the next round of grabs comes around. It will most likely have to be a grab to become a 16 team super conference and I think the B1G or PAC12 will lead that. I don't think 14 works.

I read somewhere the SEC had another school ready to go if aTm answered the call. The politicians in texas will first make sure the other texas schools are taken care of before anything happens, but it won't be this season, maybe next. The general public will be the last to find out about it. Npse will be sure to protect it's own interests in their new partnership with ut
