I found this, dated from 2006, but it leaves plenty of room for interpretation

Compliance Office 10/06
NCAA Rules Governing Agents and Amateurism
A student-athlete shall lose his or her amateur status and shall not be eligible for
intercollegiate competition in a particular sport if:
1.) The student-athlete or family member negotiates signs or enters into any written
or oral agreement with an agent for representation at that time or in the future.
2.) The student-athlete or family member accepts or receives any extra benefits from
an agent or anyone who wishes to represent the student-athlete.
3.) The student-athlete signs a contract or commitment of any kind to play
professional athletics, regardless of its legal enforceability.
4.) The student-athlete competes with a professional sports team or competes as a
professional in an individual sport and receives any compensation for
participation.
5.) The student-athlete receives, directly or indirectly, a salary, reimbursement of
expenses or any other form of financial assistance from a professional sports
organization based upon athletics skill or participation, except as permitted by
NCAA rules and regulations.
6.) The student-athlete uses his or her athletic skills for pay or promise of pay.
7.) The student-athlete shall be ineligible if he or she (or his or her relatives or
friends) accepts transportation or other benefits from any person who represents
any student-athlete in the marketing of his or her athletics ability. The receipt
of such expenses constitutes compensation based on athletics skill and is an extra
benefit not available to the student body in general.

you could say an "advisor" is a special benefit.

Reading through that reminds me of the kid from USC who got a ride on a golf cart to a class, where an agent was also on the cart, and he was suspended because of it

I see you survived the night 1217. I had a condenser part go bad on my AC last summer in the Rock and was without for a few days. I ended up going to lowes and buying a window AC unit just to get by

I have a funny feeling Cody will be playing for Tulsa...........

He said his ultimate goal is to find a school where he can make it to the NFL as a QB.............USC is too good.........Baylor doesn't sling it enough.............and Tulsa is just right

actually, not sure why but it started working about 11 last night. I am still going to waste money by having the repair come out here to tell me if he knows why it crapped out.

If yo are so mechanically inclined, in my case inside of my condenser outside, there is a control panel, in that compartment there is a thing that looks like a a huge capacitor the size of a beer can with connectors on top, the repair guy said they commonly go out, which was my problem. Cost about $100 plus the repair guys fee's.

The repair guy said if that dealybob is about to crap out it will sometimes leak and or bulge out of shape. I also learned to shut the unit off at the disconnect before poking around in there

He said the reason he left is because the passing game became completely spread oriented and the west coast offense was too ingrained in him. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't Baylor and Tulsa strictly spread passing teams?

Does U$C even have a scholarship to offer him?

Pretty cool of him to volunteer at a QB camp too

USC wouldn't have offered him if they didn't think he could start.. :L @ us

Why the hell would they think he could start?? Give me one legit example where cody has proven he could start for a team that has year in and year out produced some of the best pro style qb's in cfb?

:L at you for saying :L at us.
