I have no great secret here, just a little insight as to what his perspective is and the way the Royals work.

Yes, money...money...money... is huge issue for a young stud, but long term and where he wants to plant his ass for the next few years is something he will most likely consider. Coming here opens the door to a whole gambit of options (above and beyond a degree).

Going to a farm club with money in his pocket... well; although he could drive a nice car to work (When he is in his home place)... He probably would be watching his (Husker dream) on a Big screen TV in some motel while wishing his parents could come to every game in Memorial stadium to watch him lead the way. By the way; if he went the route of the Royals, he would not get the opportunity to eat at Lee's Chicken... and that would be a tragic situation.

Johnny Rodgers led the Cornhuskers to two national titles. They won 23 games in a row, including the 35-31 victory over Oklahoma, considered the greatest college game ever played.

Pete Carroll's Trojans included two national titles and three Heisman award winners.

7. Miami 1986-92 Record: 76-6
