Just an FYI article;

Michigan, Nebraska meet in tournament
June, 29, 2011
Jun 291:02PM ET
By Brian Bennett

Neither Michigan nor Nebraska was expected to advance to the semifinals of the SportsNation/EA "NCAA Football Traditions" tournament. The Wolverines were a No. 11 seed and the Cornhuskers a 15 seed in the 16-team field.

Yet here we are in the Final Four, and both schools are still alive, thanks no doubt to their passionate and active fan bases.

Michigan's tradition of touching the Go Blue Banner topped No. 3 seed Clemson and Howard's Rock by a 59-41 vote last week. Meanwhile, Nebraska and its Tunnel Walk/Horseshoe tradition continued its Cinderella run by walloping old rival Oklahoma and the Sooner Schooner by a count of 63 percent to 37 percent.

Now the Wolverines and Cornhuskers meet in one semifinal of this tournament. Nebraska officially joins the Big Ten on Friday, but maybe we can consider this its first league game. Here is the matchup page where you can watch a simulation of both traditions and cast your vote.

You guys have had fun with this and taken it pretty seriously so far. Let's see which fan base can mobilize and get its team to the final.

I just read the little piece Dennis Dodd wrote up about Martinez and why he got an ass reaming on the sideline of the aTm debacle. I'm sure glad he was able to clear all that up.
