its insane ot me Mo shot 42.6 and 43.2 from 3 the 2 years wth bron...no wonder he was an all star that one year....that is what lebron will do for ya though! just awesome.....

Maybe the plan is to sit Kyrie the first 70 so he can play the last 30?

You mean the same Gilbert who was the biggest proponent of a hard cap during the last CBA?
That's my issue with him. Personally I enjoy watching James take his dignity.
It wasn't James fault that he wrote that letter and left it up for 4 years.
Guess it keeps going back to that karma thing

So, when 2 giant douches reunite and collide, I'm always expecting something will happen as it did last month.

I'm willing to bet right now you're still ringless a year from now.

can't argue with the truth. if anything else doesn't come out of this tryst, one thing certainly will. Dan Gilbert is a complete and utter hypocrite...

Kyrie is made entirely of glass, so its a low-risk insurance policy.

Kyrie has spent basically his entire college and pro career constantly injured....that is too risky to chance.

Butt the Cavs cannot afford to go another playoff round with only 1 PG.

Deladova might not even re-sign, so its even more imperative to have that 3rd guard.

i mean i forgot- who have the heat signed this offseason that wasnt t on their lotto team last year? Any three point shooter? havent theey all signed else where? it seems that mickey is rather tax averse to say the least...of course that is one of the reasons bron left

You're clueless.
You pay taxes when you need to.
I'd say in instances like Ok City with Harden.
Arison never lost a player of substance over money when James was here.

You don't piss away millions and millions of dollars on totally useless non factors like Miller and Anthony.
They weren't needed.
Why be a repeater if it's not gaining you anything?

29 of 30 owners are not doing what Gilbert is, but you think he's the savvy one?

As far as the Heat, is FA over?

We'll add a shooter. We need one. I read something about potentially Bird for Crawford?
Who knows. We'll be fine because we are constructed to not have to shoot a ton of 3's.
It would be our downfall.

We're not near as desperate as you would make it seem.
You keep forgetting that Bosh, Dragic and Whitside never played together.

And, remember your 'if' checklist post from before FA started?

Every single if on it is now on the roster.

Dallas is top 6, easily.

But, I like the Griz too.

I say:

1. Spurs

2. Thunder * if healthy*

3. Warriors

4. Griz

5. Mavs/Rox

6. Rox/Mavs

7. Clippers

8. Nola

Warriors are better than the thunder and we aren't sure if spurs will win more regular season games than the warriors yet

I'd do it as long as he didn't cry again about the avi I pick out like he did last year.

or run away when he should've just taken his lumps...?

AM looking forward to those Heat/Cavs matchups next season, though. especially as much as Wiggy and Shane keep bagging on the Heat. not trying to be an instigator, but maybe a 2 part bet...?

I totally agree.
It's pretty obvious to me, based on all the moves, is that they hope Kyrie will be there, but you certainly shouldn't bank on it.

Why would fans care??? Nobody likes Gilbert, the fans want to see them win. This has no relevance on anything considering the core is young and signed long-term, except TT isnt yet.

Congrats man we know you hate Lebron, get over it. He came back to win a title for his hometown, simple as that.

I wonder what they do with Deladova now.
I suppose they have to pay him as well now big bucks.

Are they going to take another 3.5 times salary luxury tax hit again for what could be 3rd string.
Mo Williams and Kyrie both completely suck ass at defense, so its a difficult question.

Can they survive with horrible PG defense...or do they pay a small fortune for a 3rd string PG.

Delly has no indication of leaving. Cleveland loves him. As far as I know Cleveland plans to resign him for more depth at guard position.

Regular season match ups are fun, but really don't mean much other than very short term bragging rights.

Playoff series would be fun if all the bodies ( at least Heat) were healthy.

Sometimes you take the offense over defense. Every team does it at certain positions. We have good defenders at the 2-3-4-5. Especially at the 4-5, it really doesnt matter much. They need bench scoring and a shooter and that's what they got.

yeah, i'll give you that. so i'll certainly hope the Heat gel enough to make a playoff run. I DO like the pieces they have in place. imagine this board if they DID meet in the EC playoffs...?

I wouldn't resign Deladovs if any team offers him more than 2 million.

That would be way too expensive, you would have to pay a 3rd stringer essentially 10 million in costs.

The Cavs best hope is that he gets no offers at all...and maybe they can get him for 1 million tops.

Walking disaster to
Have either

As much as people rag on JR. He shot good last season, he is streaky (streaky then most) but he still puts up numbers. Everybody just remembers the Finals, he played great before that. He wont have to score like he had to with a 6 man rotation. If you dont have pressure on him, seems like that would be the way to go. That being said I wouldnt pay him over the 7-8 mil.

Cavs need...

healthy bodies...

as we've already seen, when they have a shortage of that, they seem to run out of gas. just sayin'...

as for DEFENSE, no team wins shit without it...ESPECIALLY in the playoffs...
