But the pitching in this game has been very good. I've enjoyed this little pitcher's duel. It looks like UVA may have cracked Ellis though after that 5th inning. Kirby is still throwing lights out.

I'm pulling for ya'll. THis Kirby kid has been pitching his ass off. I'd hate to see him lose his cool here. He needs to settle down. I think the coach coming out to the mound after the last runner got on did more to shake him up than to help him.

One of the problems in baseball today, pitchers are not allowed to get themselves out of trouble. Kirby was pitching different in this inning then he had earlier, but let him try to get himself out of the jam. Bullpen allows the tieing run to score.

Another thing is that UVA has only won one game between their other two trips to the CWS. O' Connor could be feeling some pressure to win this year.
