I must say, the latest Giants-Dodgers series, it didn't seem like Furcal had the energy or buzz that he used to bring. Maybe change would help though.

Like all deals, whether or not it's a good idea depends on how much we give up, and how much an energized and buzzed Furcal is better than Crawford/Tejada.

Mat Latos fucking us again, giving an early lead to the Dbags.

Padres can't even pitch anymore...or maybe the Dbacks are just that good at hitting...

This could be one of those Ross type waiver wire things....

Runzler on Thursday night pitched 5 innings, 2 hits, no runs, one walk, and 9 strikeouts. The Griz still lost 1-0 to the SLC Bee's on a 9th inning solo homer.

If Runzler can regain some control, he's going to be awesome!

And Sunday, Surkamp pitched a complete game (his 4th in 61 career starts), striking out 10 (3rd time in the last 4 games he has been over 10).

And Gary Brown was 2-4 tonight with his 40th steal for San Jose.

I am watching this Trade Deadline show on MLB Channel and a message on a ticker scrolled by, it said something like "Braves trade for Bourn, Giants tried".

Maybe were not done adding a big name. Ten mins left

Padres traded Ludwick to the Pirates. No one left on that team. Padres may not win another game the rest of the year.

Looks like Heath Bell staying, suprised they didn't get some prospects for him.

Bedard to the Red Sox at the deadline.

I thought Bell was gone for sure......Type A FA, doesn't make sense for a trade not to have happened.

The Padres will put Bell on waivers and see who claims him. A deal may still be made there.
